DIY nipples and guiche... |
| ||||||||||||||||
Having been a fan of BME for the last 4 years so I thought I would share my experiences, although it's not quite up to some of the activities on your 'people' pages.It was 6 years ago when I was 27, I started to expand into the world of piercing, my sexual activities stepped up a gear, I became more interested and knowledgeable about my inner self improving my self awareness. I've thought about having my nipple pierced since '87 but didn't fancy the idea of someone else doing it, so decided to have a go myself, if I didn't like it I hadn't lost anything plus there didn't seem to be that many piercing outlets here in the UK at that time.
I started by getting a map pin, one with a coloured ball on the end as opposed to a drawing pin. My left nipple was going to be the donor. I had some Ethyl Chloride which I got from a friend, which I sprayed over my nipple, my hands started to shake at this point. I took the pin which had been cleaned with surgical spirit and proceeded to push from one side, gently at first. I had to keep stopping because of my shakes, with a final hard push I was through to the other side. I realised I found it strangely erotic. Now it was through I pulled off a coloured ball off another pin and pushed that on to the end of the exposed point.
During the next few days I continually played and sprayed my nipple with Savalon antiseptic spray with very little discomfort. I replaced the pin with a gold sleeper which seemed to go through quite easily. After a month of seeing whether it was going to heal, reject or migrate I decided to do my other nipple, again using the same process, this time with less of the shakes. I seem to have excellent healing properties although I do have trouble with surgical steel and have found that gold is the way to go.
I've since upgraded both sleepers for 12mm diameter gold CBR's perfect. They give me so much pleasure, even my wife likes them. I would recommend pierced nipples to anyone, they've become more sensitive to the touch, although I think that may be down to my self awareness of them as they've also increased to a more masculine/feminine size. I also love other peoples reactions when I tell them that I did them myself. I just say I'd rather have done it myself than let anyone else do it.
Other piercings followed, my guiche was next. I found doing my guiche quite tricky, just because of location. This was done by perching on the edge of a stool and pulling everything (my tackle) up, out of the way. I'd advise shaving completely as visability is key here. This time I used a heavy gauge sewing needle with thick button tread cotton attached, this allowed more flexibility. The whole process seemed to add a certain amount of nervousness because I was trying to concentrate on pushing the needle in, in a straight line and not slipping, going through my thigh or scrotum. I had to take it slowly trying to control my shakes so plenty of patience was required, I also found a towel a good idea just to mop up the sweat. Once the needle was in it didn't take much persausion to push through. Once it was through I knotted the double thread with enough room to pull it in and out. I left it in for about 4 weeks until it matted hard at which point I was able to cut, remove and replace it with a 10mm diameter gold CBR. I've done this process twice now because I wasn't happy with the placement of my first, I'm happier second time round, albeit on the small size and probably not deep enough. Third time lucky maybe?
I didn't seem to have a problem healing again, just the usual slight weeping. For some reason piercers/tattooists here don't recommend Savalon antiseptic, but if you can get the clear liquid in a pump spray bottle use this, it's by far the best I've found for healing and cleaning new piercings.
I've experimented with others, such as my navel, about 3 years ago, which to my surprise hasn't closed after a year of not wearing a ring so I can still place a ring/bar through it. Others have included my scrotum, foreskin and pubic which I've decided, my pubic, I will do permanently soon. You never know a PA might follow. Piercing has taught me to 'never say never'.
That's my first chapter in self piercing and certainly not the last. I'm in the process of influencing my wife to have her nipple(s) or labia done (professionally as she won't let me). She's already had her navel pierced as a present for me and now adorns it with a looped 3 inch gold chain hanging off a 14mm diameter captive bar ring with hanging crystal teardrop gorgeous.
Anyway, keep up the good work and I'll continue to recommend your site to all my friends and family venturing or interested into the wonderful world of piercing.
