My piercing curiosity started when a small alternative shop opened near my home. I stopped in one day and noticed a display case full of Gauntlet jewelry. Something about the stainless steel and many different rings being displayed fascinated me. I also had a chance to flip through the Gauntlet catalog and view the many piercings available. That's when I knew body modification was for me!

Now I'm a "normal" looking guy who at a glance by friends and family would in no way even hint that I have this passion and these piercings (all my piercings are below the waist). After much mental debate, I decided to schedule my first appointment. My initial call was to a studio (that will remain nameless) that immediately turned me off by their obvious lack of experience and communication skills over the phone. So I did some research and got several recommendations for a place called Bodyworks Production Inc. After speaking with a Bodyworks employee, I knew that this was where I wanted to trust my bod mod too.

Well the day finally arrived and I can say I was nervous, excited, and pumped all at the same time. I met Dave (piercer) and Ed (apprentice), discussed what I wanted done, and listened to their guidance. I brought in some photos that I printed off of Bme's web page which showed my placement preferences. Believe me, I looked through every picture at Bme til I found exactly I was looking for. Dave was impressed by my thoroughness and even commented that it was nice to pierce someone who had done all his homework before our appointment. That's just the way I am....thorough!

For this day I chose a single centered scrotum and a guiche. I removed everything from the waist down and Ed marked me for placement. During all the procedures, Dave and Ed communicated their actions and answered any last minute questions. I would suggest that anyone interested in getting pierced, look for friendliness, knowledge, cleanliness, and professionalism. If your not comfortable with the individual in any of these areas move on!!! After extensive cleaning and marking to perfection, it was time for my first pierce (scrotum). As I laid down on a bed that looked like a portable operating table, Dave removed the needle from it's sterile package, prepared a cork and my jewelry. For this piercing I was getting a 12 gauge 5/8" fixed bead ring. The clamp was positioned over the two marks and a rubber band affixed to keep constant pressure on the tissue. A few repositions of the skin in the eyelet and then he asked me to take three full deep breaths. The pierce was to be preformed on the third breath....One- breath in/breath out...two-......three....wham, bamm, done! Done??? Where was all the pain I had anticipated? I felt just a minimal pinch and the needle was through. It was about 1/4 the intensity that I had imagined. My jewelry was inserted behind the needle and was fed through the new hole and I was finished. It felt as though the entire piercing from beginning to jewelry insertion took no more than three painless minutes! And the best part, NOT A DROP OF BLOOD! I was happy and as I looked down and saw the ring hanging out of my scrotum just below the base of my shaft centered perfectly, i couldn't help but crack a smile.

Next came the guiche. Dave chose a 10 gauge 1/2" niobium captive bead ring for this one. The same above procedure was followed, except this time I was kneeling on all fours. Not the most flattering position, but the best for the procedure. I was marked by Ed, and then asked to stand so that he could make sure the ring would not be put in a position to rub between my thighs. He put pressure on the spot and asked me if it felt comfortable. I agreed and then again resumed the doggie position. Dave verified that the positioning was correct and measure as he did with the scrotum. He Constantly double checked everything to make sure all was correct. The clamp was installed and the tissue moved a bit, and then the old one two three.....wham, bamm, and then the pain! This one hurt people!!! Not to the point of passing out or anything, but it did make me realize that I was alive! (for reference: I have a high tolerance for pain!) I even winced a little. Enough, in fact, that Dave asked me to keep my legs positioned so that I wouldn't pierce my leg until he could get the cork on the tip of the needle. Again the jewelry was aligned, pushed through, and fastened. NO BLOOD! A mirror was placed so that I could see my fresh pierce and again the smile. Wow it looked cool, but how did it feel? I was asked to walk around for feel and let me tell you it felt great! I got redressed, received my bags of sea salts and antibacterial soap, and was given a sheet on aftercare.

It has been four months since that day. Healing is going fine. Did have the crusties the first month, but kept them under control with proper hygiene. I still wear boxers most of the time, maybe I am just in the habit? My scrotum is almost completely healed and looks awesome! What's really cool is the positioning is such that when I am relaxed it is hidden underneath my shaft and really almost invisible. I went back two months later and got a second guiche. They are my favorites. I love when my wife plays with them during lovemaking. I would recommend them to anyone looking for added stimulation. They constantly remind me of their presence throughout the day with little tickles here and there. I have scheduled an appointment in four days to get my first guiche stretch to 8 gauge and an installation of two lorums, the start of my frenum ladder. I have heard and read that these are very stimulating for both me and my wife. I can't wait! This piercing thing is very addictive. I know I am hooked! I can think of at least five more pierces that I will be getting in the course of the year. Can't complain, they all have given me so much pleasure!

Thankx Bme!
