I'm a 48 year old straight executive type and I've gotten switched on to piercing this year. It's an addictive experience for me and right now I can't wait for this new frenum piercing to heal, so that I can work out my next piece of real estate to be perforated.

She looked at me with the most disgusted look on her face and told me she thought that I was crazy, warped and stupid all in one sentence, but she didn't say that I couldn't do it! She is about as straight-laced as it's possible to be and is still shocked from my nipple rings and navel barbell (but that's another story).
Anyway, I went down to the Piercing Urge in Sydney. I've been there before and I feel really comfortable with the level of professionalism and cleanliness of this store. I initially spoke to the clerk, who asked me what type of jewellery I was interested in. He showed me a number of different sizes of barbell and we discussed the merits of each piece. It was important to me that I didn't get anything too big. I didn't want to scare my wife. I figured that there was no point in getting a genital piercing if my wife was going to say something like; "I hope you're not thinking that you're going to stick that thing in me!". So we decided that I'd settle on a 14g barbell, and after my wife got used to the look and feel of that, we might stretch the piercing to something a little larger.
Marie, the piercer, came back into the showroom after working on another customer, saw me and gave me her usual happy greeting. We went into the piercing room and she asked me to take off my trousers and underpants. After a discussion, followed by an examination, Marie was not sure that a frenum was the best genital piercing for me. She was concerned that my foreskin might push against the piercing and cause it to migrate or reject. She even suggested that it might be smarter to get a scrotal or pubic piercing.
This advice was a big disappointment to me, and after talking about it for a little longer, I decided that I would try the frenum after all, and if it didn't work out, ah well, it would be a good reason to pierce something else. Marie was still a little hesitant, and took her time to make sure that I was certain that I wanted to try the frenum piercing. This is one other thing that I really like about the Piercing Urge, they are never rushed or hurried, even when there are a lot of people in the store. They always have the time to do things properly.
After setting up the piercing room and making sure that the room and my penis was sterile, Marie took some time measuring the correct place for the entrance and exit holes of the piercing. She marked the holes with a marker, then stood back and asked me if they were lined up properly. After a couple of small corrections, we were both happy that we had the markings in the proper places.
Marie then used a triangular clamp to hold the skin in the correct place. She placed the piercing needle against my skin and told me to take a couple of deep breaths. Then she asked if I was ready, and I told her to go for it. She broke me up when she said, "You've been ready for this all your life, haven't you?". While I was giggling to myself, Marie quickly pushed the needle through my frenum. There was a split second of pain, but nothing much to write about and then it was done.
I was looking down at the piercing needle sticking through my skin and said something like; "You see the damndest things when you don't have a camera handy!". Marie then guided the jewellery, a 14g barbell, butted against the needle, through my frenum, attached the balls to ends of the barbell and washed me down with antiseptic. I was buzzing with excitement after the procedure - it really made me feel great.
I had to go back to work in the afternoon, and it felt really great sitting around the management conference table with this smile on my face, and nobody could work out why I was so happy. The aftercare is really simple and it seems to healing well. I've been on a no-penetrative-sex regime for the last 10 days, because Marie said I've got to be really careful if I want this piercing to work.
It looks great and feels great and I can't wait to give it a test drive. It might seem that I'm a generation too old to get into body piercing, but it makes me feel happy and comfortable with myself. If you are thinking about it, just do it!
