I suppose I should begin with a little background. I have always been fascinated with genital piercings. For about five years I wanted a Prince Albert and in late 2004 I finally got one. I was very pleased with it, with the exception of having to pee in a cup whenever I urinate due to the shower head effect from stretching it from a 10g to an 8g. Not long after getting my PA I started getting curious about a frenum piercing.

My wife and I were curious about this place as every other place around here gave us a bad vibe in some sort of way. I went in one night with my her to get her rook pierced and the place instantly made me feel right at home. The main artist, Rik was a very nice guy and he had all sorts of newspaper articles written about him framed on the walls of the shop that talked about how good he is. He also had a very large trophy in a case that he has won for his tattoo work.
About a week later I went back in with my wife to get her lip pierced and I decided I would ask him about the piercing. He told me it would be a soft tissue piercing and he would have no problem doing it. I told him about my PA piercing ans how long I had it. He told me that this piercing would be a walk in the park compared to my PA. After leaving the shop that night my mind was made up. I was going to get a frenum piercing.
A Few days later after I called to see if he was free to do it and he was. A few hours later we went to the shop. There was a good sized crowd of people in there that night but it was all either people who worked there or friends of people who worked there. I proceeded to fill out the necessary paperwork and showed my ID. The made a copy of it and I payed the 70 dollars for it. Rik asked if I was ready and I told him absolutely. He gave me a baby powder wipe and told me to go in the bathroom and wipe myself off. After I did I went back to the room where the piercing would take place. My wife had already went back and was waiting for me to finish up in the rest room.. As Rik was preparing his equipment, one of his piercers entered the room. She introduced herself to us and she explained that she was one of Rik's piercers that worked at a different studio. He showed her my wife's lip piercings that he done a few days earlier and she said she really liked them. He then asked if she wanted to perform the piercing. He explained to her what it was called and where it was going to go. She told him she had never done a genital piercing before and she didn't feel comfortable performing it. She asked if it would be ok to stay so she could see the procedure so she could learn. It was ok with me and my wife so she did not leave the room. They closed the blinds on the windows so no one passing by the studio could see in. They also pulled a big curtain closed on the other side of me so no one in the studio could see in.
Rik proceeded to put gloves on and he slid a sterile tray across the room He sprayed a sanitizer on the table which I would soon be lying on, changed gloves, and continued setting up..He opened a cabinet and got out a tooth pick, a small cup, and a bottle of ink. Then he opened a drawer and got out a sterile 14g piercing needle and the jewelry. He put a drop of ink in the small cup and stuck the tooth pick in it. He told me it was time to disrobe; so I took off my pants. He told me to get up on the table and lie back He then further cleaned the area which was about to be pierced.. He then proceeded to mark the area he was going to pierce. He showed me as well as my wife and asked if it looked ok. We both agreed that it looked fine. He grabbed his clamps and clamped the area. The clamps were uncomfortable but didn't hurt that bad. He asked if I was ready and I said yes. He told take me to take a breath through my nose and let it out slowly through my mouth. Once I did that he told me to do it again. He told me once more and then he pierced me as I exhaled. It was a sharp pain which made me cringe, but surprisingly the pain was tolerable. He told me to hold still while he inserted the jewelry. A few seconds later I asked if it was in, and in a joking manor he laughed and said "That's what she said." My wife and I both laughed and he said it was in. He put some antibacterial cream around the piercing site and asked if it was ok to take a picture of it. I said sure and he told me to hang tight for a minute while he grabbed the camera. He took a picture of it and showed me. I stood up and pulled my pants up. My wife asked me if it hurt, and I said a little bit. He gave me aftercare instructions and told me how to clean it and what to clean it with. I thanked him for doing a really good job and then we left.
I've had my frenum piercing now for about 3 months now and it has done very well. It hasn't caused any problems and it never even got sore. It hurt a lot less than my Prince Albert and it healed a lot faster. There is also a lot more sensitivity with the frenum than the Prince Albert and my wife likes it a lot more as well.
Rik is an awesome piercer. Just last week we were in his shop and my wife was getting a tattoo and during the tattoo he told a girl who brought him some food that we were his best and favorite customers. I hope this story is informative for someone because if you want this piercing get it. It is great in every sense of the word.
