When I was twenty I decided to get my first penile piercing, but was threatened with eviction by my parents if I proceeded. Two years of thinking about this is daunting. I mean being a male and getting a steel needle shoved through a very tender area is one thing but having two years to think about it is just insane.
At A Glance Author PJ Contact PJ@bme.anon When A month ago Artist Mac Studio Over the Edge Location Jacksonville, TX Thankfully though I moved out and one month later decided that I had had enough time to decide to get my piercing. So I went up to the local studio, Over the Edge and talked to Mac. I had already had a few tattoos and he had pierced my ears and eyebrow, so he already knew me. Thankfully. That made asking about this piercing a bit less awkward. I mean I really didn't know what to ask for or anything. I just went in and said that I wanted to get a piercing. Mac showed me a book and after talking to me for about twenty minutes about the different types of piercings that could be done I settled on a Frenum.
Now came the hard part for me, I am shy guy. Exposing myself to people that I don't really know is not exactly high on my list of things to do. But I knew that I would do it. Mac came back in with the ring that he would use and I swear my eyes popped out of my head. I don't think that anyone really realises how large an eight gauge ring is. But I wouldn't be daunted. I just smiled and said "Let's go."
Mac went into the other room and got everything ready and just called me in. He told me that Jackie would be in in a moment to assist him, now I was worried, it's one thing for a guy to expose himself to a guy that he doesn't really know. And a complete other to do so in front of a woman. I wasn't really nervous before, but just then my nerves were shot. Thankfully I just nodded my head instead of voicing my thoughts which were praying the Lord's Prayer.
So I pulled my pants down and laid back in the chair. Mac put the clamps on and before I could even think about anything there was a needle through my penis. Then the pain and the rush hit. It was a wonderful experience to me. I loved the euphoria that I had. After about twenty seconds Mac put a ring in and then it was done. I was given after care instructions and anti-bacterial soap.
The night it was done there was a bit of bleeding which I regrettably didn't help out to much by having a few drinks. There was also some bruising though most of that faded after about a week.
I washed it twice a day for about three weeks and while there was some "crusties" it was actually a fairly painless after care. Now it is pretty much healed. I still have to rotate the ring to keep the scar tissue from closing in on it to tightly but it has made the area around the piercing sensitive a bonus that I didn't expect.
Another bonus was that I have realized that there was no point in my being shy. I have since had many of my friends that were females ask me to see it and more that a few girls just walk up after they found out that I had it ask me if I would like to take them out after it heals.
All in all a pleasant experience. Though I think that anyone that is thinking about getting this particular piercing should be warned that if they "crust" up not to try to scrape it off with a finger nail, just wash it and soak in warm water. It will break up on its own.
Now that I have it done I can't wait till I have the money to get more. I am more happy with my piercings that I thought were possible. My future plans include another eye brow piercing and other facial piercings. More genital piercings are in the works and it is those that I look forward to the most.
One last thing, if you are in the Jacksonville, TX area and you need to get a tattoo or piercing you should visit Mac and Jackie, their insight helped me greatly in choosing my piercing. Mac freely gives advice and support. They are friendly, clean, and good. I emphasize good, I have never heard a complaint from anyone that I have talked to personally, and I have and will continue to refer people to them.
So all in all there is only one word that can summarize my experience, good.
