Wow, where should I start. . .

Alright, I'll begin by telling you that I've got a very strange relationship with my piercer, spanning over a time period of about three years. This relationship ultimately evolved into an apprenticeship, but not before we became involved in a relationship. Now that that's out of the way, this story will seem alot less PSYCHO.

I'm about officially 2 months into my apprenticeship, and so far I've learned all about sterilization, setup, etc and have performed eyebrow, cartilage, and earlobe piercings, as well as a nipple upgauge. My 4th official piercing, the frenum, was performed on my piercer/boyfriend/teacher at home in the Bronx, New York. I was originally supposed to do a navel, but idea was changed. I'm happy for that now!

So, being that this was done at home, I had the "tray setup" on a rolling table, and had him sit on the couch. Yes, the couch. As for the jewelry, we chose a 14 gauge 1/2" barbell with jeweled ends. As he's sitting there smoking a cigarette, he warned me not to 'fuck up'. Nice, no pressures, right? Great for my first genital piercing....Wow.

Usually I'm the one in the chair having a heart attack and being all nervous, so this was a nice 'change of setting' for once. You can read about MY experience here. So I try to gather up my courage, because I'm practically shaking at this point, and take a look at his penis. He previously had two frenums, now retired, so marking wasn't so hard - I just marked for placement in between the scars the last two had left behind. Clamping was a little hard because I didn't want to hurt him, and I had to keep readjusting the damn things because the skin kept moving! He says I did I good job, so it wasn't that bad. So after the two minutes that felt like a million years were over...I proceeded to grab the cork and needle. Now the good part comes.

Okay, so same old routine, "Take a deep breath in...." and then I hear, "No, wait wait!" Okay, not uncommon, especially for a piercing in this area, but now let me tell you, I can honestly say this was one of the best moments of my LIFE. Coming from the one person who without a doubt would always roll his eyes when this came from ME when the situation has been reversed, always saying "it's not that serious", this was simply terrific and ground-breaking. But enough of that.

Okay, so here comes the second, "Take a deep breath in...are you ready" and he says yes. Phew. But am I ready? I guess we were both about to find out soon enough!

Yes! Great success! It was more like the exhale of a baby's breath than a BAM!, but :::BAM!!!::: is alot more exciting for literary purposes. So now I cork the needle, grab for the jewelry, and push it through - It all went smoothly, thank g-d! I had a taper on-hand for any possible mishaps, but thankfully it wasn't needed. It was all very quick, smooth, and for the most part painless. Or as painless as it was going to get. Ouch. However, it didn't bleed at all. Yet.

At a first glance it seemed as though there was too much of the barbell showing, but that was okay, since I needed to leave space for swelling and erection. That part is coming up, stay with me now. So we figure we ought to see how it the frenum piercing would look with him erect. You know, for educational purposes...
So that was a success as well, and then he gets the crazy idea in his head that he wants to "test if out".
"What did you just say?"
"I want to test it out"
"I JUST STUCK A NEEDLE THROUGH IT ARE YOU CRAZY!?"
Well after some back and forth deliberation, I decided 'how on earth could I turn that down.' I mean, C'MON! So test it out indeed we did, and I must say, that it went as smoothly as the piercing itself :)
I was a little worried when it bled a bit, but it was nothing major and the piercing is perfectly fine now. As great as it was, I wouldn't recommend it, as this is a very risky move! But I figure we're both experienced enough in this area to be able to predict the positive outcome of the decision and judge the possibility of a complication with the piercing.

So the conclusion of this story? He's happy and so am I, thus the title of this entry "Frenum piercing for a girl". He's actually considering having me do another! Stay tuned...Thanks for reading!
