I had been curious about frenum's for a while so I did my research talking to people that I had known that had it done not much help there. The internet turned out to be my friend. I browsed various image galleries and read many experiences, good and bad.

One night last week while I was under the influence of an opiate, I pinched the skin some to get an idea of how much pain would be involved.
So I decided to go through with it and gathered my things, a set of forceps from a hospital that my dad stole while he worked as a security guard, the had to be sterilized first, a sharpie, it was permanent and I wouldn't have to worry so much about it coming off. The eye brow piercing kit that I bought at a local event which contained a 14ga needle and barbell. I thought this was very cool looking, I bought it with the intention of piercing my eye brow but my job wouldn't allow it, needless to say it got put to much better use. I took some alcohol and soaked everything the forceps, needle and barbell, and wiped my self down.
Then I proceeded to mark and set the forceps in place this took many attempts to get right, probably more painful than the actual piercing. I got everything lined up and added some antibiotic ointment to the needle and tested by gently poking to get more of a feel for what I was about to expose myself to. It seemed like it was going to be painful and I almost punked out. At first I couldn't bring myself to do it because of my nervousness but eventually set my intoxicated mind to do it.
I took three deep breaths and pushed, it didn't go clear through at first and it stung so I slowly pushed some more. All I got was an excruciating sting, because I just wasn't pushing hard enough. Then I just laid back and let my mind go and forced myself to jam it the rest of the way through. I thought it was gonna be like lighting a fire to my dick but to my amazement it only hurt for just a moment and that was it. I then pulled out the needle and wiped off the little bit of blood with some gauze that had gotten out of the cabinet earlier, forgot to mention it, then applied some alcohol, oh god that hurt like hell.
I sat looking at the holes and readied my self for the next step. I took the barbell out of the alcohol and unscrewed one of the balls and started working it into the hole on the left side at this point I am kicking myself for not having a cathode. After about 15 minutes of fidgeting with it and some painful pushing it was through. I retch for the ball I had set on the desk and it rolled off and fell down the register vent. I cursed silently and find a screwdriver open the vent and retrieve the ball.
Now I had to soak it again. While it was soaking for a bit Indulged in the peak of my high now with adrenaline and some self satisfaction of a job well done. I took the ball out of the alcohol and screwed it on. Then scrutinized it and decided I didn't quite like the the barbell, remembering I had a bead ring with some of my other jewelry I went and got it. The bead ring was tough but not a tough as first with the barbell. I got it in and was satisfied and went off to sleep.
The next morning I did a sea salt soke which is about eight ounces of water and a quarter of a teaspoon of salt for about ten minutes. Well it is healing very nicely and no signs of infection! My girlfriend loves it and wished I had it done sooner!
End note: I would not recommend anyone do this their selves because going to a studio you have a lot more safety and experience working for you. You will save your self a lot of pain and lose a lot of the risk of infection and they will most likely get it right the first time. But if you insist on doing it yourself make sure you do all of the research and get all the right equipment and plan before hand. I cannot stress how important it is to clean everything. Wash at least twice daily do the saline or sea salt soke and be of utmost clean this is not for some one with very poor hygiene.
