Some years ago I stumbled upon BMEzine by accident. Piercing didn't really interested me, so after some clicking I closed the site. Some months later, while looking for schools (my department is called BME) I fell upon the site again and clicked around some. Much of what I saw disgusted me but curious a boy as I am I frequently visited to look, read, learn,.. I say disgust but this does NOT mean that I didn't respect what other people do to their bodies! After a while I developed an interest. Looking around I started to like all kinds of piercings and loving sex as most of us do, the thought of getting my penis pierced attracted me. First I decided to get pierced elsewhere first (since it d be my first piercing) but for some reason (mostly social ones) I constantly put it off.

Now how did I come to have this piercing? There are two reasons. The first is because of the exams in some way. The stress helped me take the step to get pierced. The fact that I asked for an appointment right after my last exam was very important to me in a way. The other reason is I recently enjoyed sex with a girl with a pierced hood. It seems that in a way I was fearing that having a pierced frenum might give me trouble with sex partners later on. The girl made me realize that it doesn't matter and if it does, there s something fundamentally different between me & the girl, so problems would be inevitable. I Love genital piercings.
I had the choice between two parlors and since one of them gave me an uneasy feeling (not due to cleanness, just something personal) the choice was easy! Also because I want a nape piercing and they only do it in the parlor I got pierced at. (there are a lot more parlors of course, but I only considered these 2, they gave a very clean impression) I had already been inside to buy dread lock wax (its a big parlor with several people doing piercing, dreading, tattooing, ..) so I had a good idea of what kind of place it was. After checking their web page I knew that I genital piercings were on appointment only so I decided to go there after an exam. I drove there but the weather and parking spot kept me from entering. (yeah I chickened out) I was unhappy with myself and when I arrived home I looked up their email to mail them with a question I had about aftercare. I have a busy sumer festival schedule and I wanted to know whether it d be possible to get pierced merely a week bef ore the first festival. Some days later I tried to go again, but this time it was closed and the day after she was busy piercing someone, so.. I was starting to despair since my last exam was nearing each day, when the reply to the email came, telling me it would be possible, if I kept up with aftercare. We mailed some more about questions I had and set the date for June 18th, an hour after my last exam.
After that last exam, I went for a drink with some class mates. Non alcoholic of course! We went for a drink near the parlor so 10 minutes before my appointment I told them I had to be someplace but would meet with them in about 30 minutes.
Once at the parlor I introduced myself to the person behind the counter and told her that I had an appointment to have my soft parts pierced. As I expected from earlier visits she was the piercer and after introducing herself she gave me a release form with some questions about drugs, allergies, sleep and whatever which I filled out truthfully. Then she surprised me by pulling out a book with piercings to make sure we were talking about the same piercing. I should have expected this but still..
I followed her to the piercing room in the back where she showed me where to put my vest and asked me to take a seat on the bed thingy while she prepared everything. Because I didn't really look at the bed before sitting on it I almost tipped it over, but in the end I took a seat without breaking any gear or bones. She excused for not warning me, I excused for being clumsy and I had fun watching her take out the gear. She started by putting on gloves. Took lots of bags with sterile gear out of big drawers with more of the same. In the middle of the process she told me not to worry about all the gear and I don't remember what I answered her. She also explained she d be using a CBR to avoid healing complications.
She told me to push down my pants a bit and started put on new gloves. She disinfected the area (hehe, sounds very science fiction) and started marking the spot. When she was satisfied she got the clamp and put it in place (it looked like a Pennington Forceps as found in BME/store but slightly opened on top) At this time I was still completely humored by all it. Glad to finally see it all happen live instead of reading about it in BME Experiences. Then came the needle and the words "Breathe in deeply & then out" This was when the thought finally sunk in.. I was having a needle jammed trough my dick and it was going to happen VERY soon. I took a breath and while exhaling I fell the needle sink in. Interesting feeling. It hurt a bit, but nothing too much, I had worse paper cuts! She said "That didn't hurt that much, did it" and I told her - surprised - that I had expected it to hurt more. She cut the end of the needle, slid in the CBR, warned me I'd probably feel it and put i n the ring. A second later she put in the ball and merely instants later I was on my feet & putting my pants on.
She explained aftercare - wash twice a day with PH neutral soap, rotate the ring, clean the soap off and rotate again, make sure there s no soap residue. Don't touch without washing hands first and this for about 6 to 8 weeks, and rather longer than shorter. Told me I could come over if I had any questions and gave me her card so I could call her if she isn't in the store at the time of need, together with the soap. I walked to the counter to pay €75, still slightly confused with it all! After asking some questions about nape piercings I left the store to go for a drink (still non alcoholic) with my friends.
We had a drink and after an hour we left the bar to eat some. I used a public toilet on the street to have a pee only to discover that I was bleeding from my new piercing. Because of BME I wasn't at all worried, only very annoyed because I left my paper tissues in my car. The tissues I brought for this exact reason! Luckily someone was able to give me a tissue. The rest of the evening was very nice and I checked several times to monitor my bleeding and change the tissue when needed. Other than the bleeding I felt no discomfort At All!
The next day I had a very active day with much running around, so I feared for more bleeding. I checked several times a day and kept tissue in place to make sure no one would have to point out any leakage. It turned out that my fear was not necessary and all turned out well..
That was yesterday. Today s been nice too, I changed from tight underwear to the loose boxers I'm used to and it feels fine.
I love my new piercing :) Although sometimes I still cant believe I got pierced!..
I sometimes cant help smiling like an idiot because I feel the ring shift a bit. I'm also discovering all kinds of new and fun sensations to daily stuff like "shaking off the last drops after peeing" I cant wait to see how sex feels! I already had an erection and its great so far. I wont try till I'm sure it wont hurt the piercing tough!
My frenum has never looked better than now :) & I look forward to see it with a barbell too! A whole new world of fun!
Finally I would like to add that I am extremely happy with Bodydesign Gent, will probably get pierced again there and would advise anyone to go there too!
