This is my 3rd genital piercing and by far my favorite. Already having a prince albert and a frenum done I knew the day would come where I had to get a lorum. That day was 4 days ago. I woke up with that "I need a new piercing" feeling. I made my way down to Tribosei body piercing and asked Taylor is he could do a lorum piercing. Not having any 10 gauge barbells in stock Taylor told me to come back the next day when he would have some. Which was no problem because good things do come to those who wait. Well that next morning I called to confirm that the jewlery was in and indeed it was. I decided to get something to eat before I went there because getting pierced on an empty stomach is never a good idea. So I made myself a nice big veggie burger with all the fixings and walked down to the shop. I was so excited to get pierced I realized I was walking way too fast and had to calm myself down. I just couldn't get there fast enough.

I had to work a 12 hour nightshift the same night and was starting to think this wasn't a good idea but luckily everything worked out perfectly. When the time came Taylor told me to go in the back room and lay down on the bed. So I got in the room and layed down on the bed while the markings were put in place. After a little while I was asked if I was going to be happy with the placement I looked at the blue lines on the base of my penis and told Taylor that it looked perfect. I must also add that one of my favorite bands (Meshuggah) was playing while I was getting pierced, which made the experience that much better. At this point I started breathing in and out deeply to become more relaxed. I was expecting an intense amount of pain but the truth is I could barely even feel the actual piercing. It felt like a bit of a pinch. After a few more minutes the procedure was over. Getting my lorum pie rced at 10 gauge hurt much less than my frenum that was pierced at 12 gauge. A good job indeed! It did bleed a tiny bit but nothing serious. I usually am a little nervous about piercings being done with the right placement but every piercing I got done here was perfect. Anyways, I paid for my piercing and went back home for a few minutes before I had to leave for work. I was totally suprised at how little my piercing was hurting on my walk home. I was almost nervous that the ring came out! When I got home I looked at my piercing for the second time and it was doing fine. I just love the way a new piercing makes you feel, almost like a new person. I told my cousin about my new piercing and he just laughed at me. What a guy. I made myself a little more to eat and I was off for work. The ride there was a little bumpy. I was almost thinking that the driver was hitting all the bumps in the road on purpose after I told her I got pierced! But I survived the 45 minute car ride just fine. At work I didn't even notice my piercing the whole time and the work I do is pretty physical. No problems there whatsoever. When I got home again that morning I did a sea Salt soak for the first time which felt very good.
The only problem I did have with my lorum was today when I was a little too rough with the poor guy. This was my own dumb fault. I was trying to hold off with causing my lorum any additional "stress" from movement, but I gave in today. I'm only human! I'm not sure if it tore a little bit or was just bleeding slightly on the right side. But I'm confident it will heal just fine. You live you learn. I will just be much more careful in the future. Now as far as aftercare goes I'm just going to do that odd sea salt soak and keep an eye on it. I have many plans for future mods including a frenum ladder. Which I will add step by step (so to speak) And will definitely be returning to Tribosei for that. If you are ever in the area I definitely recommend going to Tribosei. I also recommend getting a lorum while your at it!
