And I have to tell you...I loved it. It was the most fun, painful, piercing ever! I recommend this piercing to each and every male on the planet.
A month earlier I had promised myself that I would never let a needle near my penis (like most guys say). But, the more I thought about it, the more it interested me.
So, I started to check out piercings here on BME. At first I was going for the P.A. (Prince Albert), but then I found out that they would be piercing that with an 10g needle and then stretch it to and 8g. So I said "no fucking way". And then started to look at other genital piercings and came across the frenum. The first thing I thought to myself was ribbing, then ladder. And it was decided.
The very next day I went into the shop and said...frenum. I had my girlfriend with me to watch and we went into the back room. I dropped my pants, jumped up on the seat and said "this is going to hurt, bad", only to hear the reply "yes it will". This scared me, and because I was scared...so was it. The piercer put on his gloves and grabbed a pen and marked off where it would be. He said "it might seem like it wont go through much skin, but, as we all know, things do grow a bit down there. I looked at the marks and said that it looked fine and told him to go on.
He set everything up on his table (clamps, barbell, KY jelly, needle) and took some salene solution and made sure my penis was clean. He then proceeded to clamp it, wich I found to be quite painless. He then put some KY on the needle to make sure that it would be a quick and smooth peirce. I laid back and he lined up the needle. I could feel the needle pushing slightly against my skin, and then, he began his count. "In on one, out on two, in on three, pierced on four" and I let out a giant "OUCH!" and nearly broke my girlfriends hand. I was so surprised at the amount of pain that I had just felt, but 10 seconds later, the pain was gone and I felt normal again. He pushed through the barbell, wich was the most painless jewlery entry I have ever felt, and then cleaned it off one more time and said "all done".
I was so excited that I ran out to the front of the shop and said to the girl that was there "I just got my penis pierced, wanna see?" to have the reply, "of course". So I showed her. Then I sat down outside and had a smoke to attempt to calm myself, wich did not really work that wall as I was still pumped full of adrenaline. I then continued to waddle up the road to wait for my ride, telling every person that I saw what I had just gone through. Wich I did out the window while driving around as well. Let me tell you, there is no shame once you have gotten you penis pierced.
Later on that night, I was walking from a video store to my friends car after dinner and I felt a dripping. I quickly went and sat in the car and got my salene, some kleenex, and some que tips. It bled for almost 2 hours. The only way I could stop it was to put kleenex on both ends of the piercing and wait for it to clot itself up. After that the healing was fairly simple. After about a week I was able to masterbate, but with some needed skill. I found it is best if you put the barbell between your forefinger and middle finger and don't move up and down too much. You do not want to tug it, believe me, it hurts like a bitch.
I have some advice for anyone getting a frenum, or is currently going through the healing process. The first day you have it pierced, don't walk around too much, and don't touch it. Clean it every morning and every night. Aftercare is the most important thing. Wait at least two weeks before having sex and be careful when inserting. And if you have sex at two weeks, make sure you clean it right away after or it will get some gross crusties. The first couple times it will seem like its tugging alot but that goes away.
And I am not crazy for getting my penis pierced, all the people who say that are just pussies!
