I talked to my boyfriend and at first he was very turned off by the idea of a dick piercing. I researched different piercings and decided that I wanted to get a barbell at the base of my dick, however I did not know what this was called. I mean I had seen guys in porn and on the net that had had this piercing and I thought it was cool. I would soon find out that it was called at frenum.

It has been my experience that when you feel the urge to go and get pierced, just go do it, don't think about it. It seems like the more that you think about it, you will probably talk yourself out of it. So my boyfriend and I go to Cheap Trx in St. Louis, I liked this place for one because it is very gay friendly, and second this is where I had had all of my other piercings done at. I love the staff. Stan was the piercer working, and I told him that I wanted to get a frenum and described where I wanted it to be placed. My boy friend also decided that he wanted to get the same thing. Stan proceeded to tell me that the frenum starts where the line of circumcision is, so that was about an inch below my head.
We picked out the barbells, I am not really sure of the size, I chose the smaller of the two. Once we were back in the room Stan had me sit down in this black Gothic dentist chair that fully reclines. He told me to pull down my pants and sit down and relax. He then fully reclined the chair and started to prep all of the stuff that he needed. He was very professional about it all and very clean. He opened a pack of sterile gloves and made the appropriate marks on my dick, which by this time was turtle dick. He then took off those gloves and opened a fresh pair. he then got out the piercing needle, which is plastic and can be cut once in place. He placed the forceps on my dick and told me he was about ready. I have to admit that I was kind of scared I mean I have had other piercings, but if you are not a bit nervous then there is something wrong. So there I am, I tell him to go ahead he said take a breath and hold it in, then let it out. When I did that he shoved the needle though. It was a quick sharp pain, almost like if you had zipped your dick in your zipper. Also like if you pinch your cock with you finger nails. He then cut the needle cath and told me he was about to put the barbell in. He screwed the barbell ball on and I was through. He wrapped my dick in gauze and told me to keep my dick in the straight up position. Amazingly it didn't hurt that long and my that night I had almost forgot that I had it. It was maybe a couple of days before I was able to jack off with lube and maybe a week and a half for sex. But be sure that you wear a condom. Also be sure that you are cleaning your frenum carefully.
I like my piercings so much, but I wasn't quite happy with just one. So I decided that I wanted to get a couple more. I went back to Stan and I got 2 more. These were not as bad as the first. This time I watched as he pierced me. The thing that I like about the frenum is that you can take them out and it doesn't leave a hole like a pa. I also think that the frenum ladder looks classy.
The only other advise that I would have for any of you out there thinking about getting a piercing is first do your research. Second, go to a piercer that is professional and is part of the APA. Don't just let your buddy down the street try to pierce your dick with a safety pin. Also don't try doing this yourself. It may work but it could be pierced cockeyed, and could even migrate out and you don't want that to happen. So just pay the money and go get it done by someone who knows what they are doing. Oh and by the way tip the piercer.
