With the restrictions of work meaning that visible piercings are not a possibility I was left with very few alternatives. I have had my nipple piercings for a couple of years and I started to get the 'urge' again.

The idea of putting myself through that much pain for anything seemed stupid. However recently the idea has not seemed so bad. I am not a great fan of the look of a PA which seems to be the obvious choice. As I researched the different types of piercing on BME I came across the frenum. It looked good, it was discrete and straight away I decided that this was the one for me.
Now for where to get it done. The place where I got my other piercings did not do genitals so I had to find a new studio. Previously when searching web sites to purchase new jewellery I came across Cold Steel in Camden. They have a very good site and were prompt in supplying the jewellery that I had ordered. I researched them on BME and only found good reports.
As luck would have it a couple of days later I had a free afternoon. I phoned the studio to make an appointment and was able to get one within the hour. The girl on the phone said that she was currently serving an apprenticeship and had been doing so for two and a half years. She asked if I would mind if she did the piercing under the supervision of an experienced piercer. I confirmed that I did not have a problem with this. You may think that to let someone inexperienced loose with a needle on one of the most precious parts of your body is inconceivable but my thinking was this.
1. Do you ever know the experience of a piercer when first going to a studio or even a their experience with a particular piercing? At least she was honest.
2. A studio that has apprenticeships shows a commitment to piercing and is obviously not in it for a fast buck.
3. An apprentice is more likely to take their time to get it right and the tutor would ensure that every thing was correct.
It may take a little more time but what the heck.
I got to the studio in good time, went up the stairs where I was greeted buy the girl that had spoken to me on the phone. She confirmed that it was she who would carry out the piercing and asked me to fill out the consent form whilst she prepared the room. She asked if I had any other piercings and I confirmed that I had both nipples. She said that if I could handle the pain of having the nipples pierced then this would not be a problem.
When she was ready she lead me upstairs into the room and introduced me to the experienced piercer. Suddenly my main concern changed. I had been worried about the pain (I am not good with pain) but now I was a little concerned with something else. You see they were both girls and rather good-looking ones at that. There were a couple of reports on BME about guys getting a little over excited when having their genitals poked. I had considered this previously but thought that it would not be a problem as I expected to be pierced by a man, but two women!!!. In fact this proved not to be a problem. I guess that the idea of someone sticking a needle through your chap was not exactly conducive to fun times.
The room was spotlessly clean. I am not going to go through it all but everything was there that you would expect.
I was asked to drop my trousers and lie back on the couch. She disinfected the area and proceeded to mark the entrance and exit holes. This took some time but after five minutes or so we were ready to go. The tutor generally took a back seat but confirmed the correct placement at the end. It was very strange to have two girls standing over your most intimate parts discussing them as if you were not there.
So we were ready to go. On went the clamp. I did not even feel it. On my nipples this hurt almost as much as the piercing so not feeling it this time put me at ease. She told me to breath in and then out slowly and on the exhale she would pierce me. This I did but as the needle went in any concentration on breathing was lost. It did hurt, not quiet as much as the nipples but still. It stung again as she put the barbell in but that was the last pain I have felt.
She cleaned up the blood and went through the aftercare. I looked down and there was the 12g titanium barbell. It looked cool if a little bloodstained.
I paid the money and left. I found the experience was great and would encourage anyone to get pierced at Cold Steel. The cleanliness of the studio and manner of the piercers puts all others I have been to to shame.
As I said before since the piercing I have felt no pain whatsoever. I clean it with Provon twice a day and I guess by now it is probably healed. I guess sexually it is not rewarding like the PA but it looks really cool.
