Well I have always liked piercings and over the years I've had many done by friends and what not, my lip, ears, eyebrow. However these were all done while I was under 18 so my parents made me take them out. But I turned 18 in feb. and I thought that it was time for a new piercing. Being the typical teen between high school and college I was at a lack of money, but still wanted a new piercing.

She knew a lot more about piercings that I did so she told me that it wasn't the smartest idea to pierce myself, but I wanted to know what it was like to drive a something thru another part of my body. She was never to hot on the idea of me doing it myself, because of the risk of infection, the fact that I might screw up, and the fact that she didn't get to either. But I finally get her to go along with the plan, on the basis that we try and turn my bathroom (that's where we were going to do the piercing) into the most sterile place possible. My father is a doctor so I simply swiped a few supplies from our home and disinfected the whole room. I wasn't going to take any chances, I really didn't want anything going wrong. I know this was a stupid thing to do, the whole self piercing, but we tried to keep everything clea n.
I read a lot of the stories on BMEzine.com and I may not know much, but I do know that this is kinda a risky thing to do. So I gathered up what money I had left and bought a 12g BB, and a 12g needle. I cleaned my area very well and made sure that I had everything in the right place. I stuck the needle in, well I thought it was going to hurt more than it did, I didn't even feel it. I called my girlfriend into the room to help get the BB in, she put on some latex gloves (to make sure my d*ck doesn't turn blue and fall off from infection) and helped me finish the process. We did this about a week ago (9 days) and so far I haven't had any problems with it. I know that self piercing isn't the best Idea if u don't really know what your doing and all, but we tried to keep it as clean as possible, and did a damn good job at it.
My girlfriend seems to enjoy looking at it now, the fact that she and I cant use it for a while is annoying but it seems to be the price to pay for beauty. Honestly I know that I shouldn't have done this myself, and that I should have gone to a proper place. Yes I complain about it being high priced, but I mean its high for good reason. The actual process was fairly non stressing, I simply cleaned my unit very well, while trying not to get hard. I don't know if would have presented a problem but I didn't wasn't to risk it. I simply put on some gloves and ran the needle through it. My girlfriend now enjoys simply looking at it, because we cant use it for a couple more weeks. She has started talking about getting her clit pierced so that we'll match. She thought about doing this as soon as she saw a BB in my frenum. I guess she likes the look of a little "bling bling" on your thing. We are not going to do her clit our selves, simply because that's so much more dangerous, not like mines wasn't....But that's a whole other story.
Although I haven't had any thing go wrong this far into my piercing I was thinking that I should have taken the extra cash to get it done at a proper place, but it's a little to late to go back on it now. I don't want to risk infection, but I know that's also something I have to make sure of regardless of where I get it pierced. I know some of your guys at BMEzine don't really support self piercing if u don't know what your doing, and understandably so, neither do I. But sometimes self betterment takes priority over logic, as it did 9 days ago. The next step in my self improvement will me branding Japanese style sun beams above my penis itself, and that followed by a shaft tattooing and a prince Albert, if that is possible with the piercing I already have
DO NOT BE LIKE ME, don't let your friends, or yourself do your piercings, get them done somewhere logical. Do not try this at home, unless you live in a piercing shop!
