The idea to get a genital piercing was my wife's. We have recently decided to go our separate ways, and she felt that there was one last thing we should do together. She wanted to get a vertical hood and for me to get a frenum. It was something that she felt we had to do as a symbol of everything we have been thru. The meaning that this experience holds is not easily forgotten.

We decided to go to The Zone on Friday our local studio. They are the only licensed tattoo artist and body piercer in Missouri. Very clean and professional we have been there on a few occasions for various tats.
Well the day came and we had to find someone to go with us to watch our little buddy. With that solved we piled into the car and headed to The Zone. Upon our arrival we ran into Mark the piercer, who was stuffing his face, and told him what we wanted. He said cool and gave us the necessary paper work to make everything legal. Finished with that he took us to his booth to get set up.
I went first of course. I dropped my shorts and he asked my wife where exactly she wanted it on my shaft. He took a look at my dude to see if any veins where going to be a problem. The first area was right under the helmet; he couldn't put it there because there was a chance cutting the tendon. I said cool that probably wouldn't be fun. She chose the next site, but now the veins where in the way. He then suggested a site just a little lower, my wife looked at it and said it would be perfect. Mark prepped the area cleaning it thoroughly, and checked again to make sure everything was clear. He dipped a toothpick in ink and used it to mark the area where the jewelry was going to go. Next came the clamps. Clamps are fun. He triple checked to make sure everything lined up and asked my wife if it was right.
Using a cork on the receiving side and a 14ga needle on the entry side my wife took my hand, I know but it was for moral support, and Mark asked me if I was ready. I said yes. Take a deep breath; in, out, and on the third breath he pushed the needle through. My wife said cool, but it felt like the needle was dull. I could feel my skin stretch then relax as the needle came out the other side. It felt like a good pinch with fingernails. He put the jewelry in, a 14ga half-inch barbell, tightened the balls and cleaned the area. That was it for me.
We took a break and then came back in. I calmed my wife the best I could while Mark set up for her piercing. She asked Mark if she could accept a horizontal hood. He said that a vertical would be more suitable considering the size of her hood. He cleaned the area while explaining after care for both of our piercings. He gently placed the clamps on the site double checking the area and slide the rubber band down to hold the clamps tightly. He placed the cork underneath and told her to take three deep breaths. I held her hand pushed her hair out of her face and on the third breath he pushed the needle through. She immediately let out a loud scream that lasted for about a 2-3 seconds, while turning the bones in my hand to dust. He put the barbell in and cleaned the area and said you're all set.
Before we left he gave us two bags of sea salts and explained the APP pamphlet to us and told us if we have any problems call.
We got our little buddy and went home to see what we had. I pulled my shorts down and they where soaked with blood. My piercing was bleeding a lot. All we had to stop the bleeding was a tampon, which we wrapped around the site to help control the bleeding. I then went out and bought sterile gauze and tape to wrap it up right. Later that night I cleaned it, it was still bleeding a lot, and wrapped it up. My wife said if it was still bleeding tomorrow to call mark and see if something was wrong. The next day it was still bleeding I called The Zone and Mark said to come down. He looked at it and cleaned it up and said that he hadn't cut through any veins that he could see and if it was still bleed Monday to call and he would take it out and when it was healed give me another. It stopped bleeding before Monday what a relief.
Well my wife enjoys her piercing a great deal and mine has made me real sensitive. We have explored our new toys together and found them satisfactory.
That is the last time we have been together and one of the best times.
