A month after getting my nipple pierced I decided it was time for another hole. As many who have this modification agree, piercings can become quite addicting. I felt a genital piercing was the right choice at this time. But what would I get? After researching the wonderful archives on BME, I was most interested in a special project. I wanted a frenum loop. The idea of having a semi-permanent cock ring especially excited me. However, this would take piercing and stretching; it was not an instant gratification job. Many wrote that this piercing added stimulation to their penis (and who wouldn't love extra stimulation) and it would not require piercing the urethra (I am not very keen on having a piercing through there but more power to those who do). In addition, the healing time for this piercing was between one and three months, another pro for the frenum.

So, after explaining what I wanted to my girlfriend, Erica (and enjoying her reaction), an appointment was made with my piercer, Dayna. She runs a great shop in Norwalk, CT, which is extremely sanitary, and is a very pleasant person in general. Anyone interested in piercing in the Southern Connecticut area should visit her shop, Nailtrix. She will answer any questions and will make the process enjoyable and make you extremely happy with your piercing.

On a Saturday night I went to Nailtrix to finally get my frenum done. However, having a needle pushed through your dick is enough to make even the toughest guys a little weak in the knees. Dayna and Erica comforted me as I was becoming a little nervous. I knew that this was what I truly wanted and I was ready to proceed with my modification. After cleansing the area thoroughly, Dayna prepped me for the procedure. Marking the entry and exit holes carefully and verbally comforting me at the same time. It seems that whenever I am in her chair, there is always something humorous to ease my nerves; in this situation it was a smiley face around the exit and entry holes. However corny it seems, it was very funny and did make me feel a little more comfortable. She applied the clamp, which I did not feel nearly as much as my nipple, and picked up the needle.

Finally, the command to breathe in and out followed by the countdown...3...2...1...

"And we're done" - That's it?

The procedure couldn't have been any easier. Even though the piercing involved a needle through my penis, the pain was minimal. She carefully placed the 16ga barbell in and it was over. As I gazed down at my pecker now flashing with metal, I was amazed at how good it looked.

No problems arose and it was healed within a month. I cleaned the piercing two or three times a day because that was the last place I wanted to get infected. After piercing your penis, you become much more aware of anything that hits it. I was extra cautious when doing anything that meant something was coming in contact with the general region. I only sleep on my stomach, which I thought might pose a problem; however, the frenum piercing is located in a fashion that shields it from being hit during the night. Sex made the piercing a little tender, but a condom helped relieve the pressure (of course, this should have been done in the first place during the healing period). It felt great and there was indeed extra feeling from the barbell for both of us.

As I returned home for Christmas break, I wanted to start phase two of my project: stretching my piercing. I returned to Nailtrix and Dayna stretched my piercing to a 10ga barbell. Later that day, I ordered the loop from Tribalectic online. After miscalculating the size and reordering, I got the correct measurement and couldn't wait to put it on. When I looked down and saw a steel loop with 3 ¼" balls surround the head of my dick, my quest was completed. It looked exactly as I had pictured it and I was extremely pleased. The loop lays right behind the head, sometimes flipping over the front, especially from movement or the cold.

For the next few days I was so happy with the piercing and loop that I felt as though I wanted to approach every person on the street and say, "Take a look at what I got!" Some would say it looks scary – I say it looks beautiful. However, there is something to be said for having a piercing which is concealed from the public. It's like you have your own little secret that nobody would even guess you have. We all have our secrets, right? Make an appointment to get a genital piercing and your own secret as well.
