It all started one day when my girlfriend suggested that I get my dick pierced. At first i was like What The F$#@?! because I had never done any piercings at all! I'm typically the more conservative type but for some reason I couldn't say no. Then the more and more I thought about it I really couldn't find a reason not to. I really didn't wanna pierce any "meat" so naturally the frenum sounded like the perfect choice. I know a guy who's got a frenum already so I went to him for info and he referred me to BME. So I went to BME and researched it. I read all about the procedure and what not. It just sounded like a better and better idea the more i read. I mean the sexual advantages hehe. So after much thought I finally decided that I was gonna do it. When I told my girlfriend I was going to do it she was really excited as she had just gotten her clit pierced too. Hehe this should turn out interesting.

So I decided that I was going to do it myself. Many people advised me against this but I figured, hey if I screw up then I'll be incredibly pissed at myself, but if someone else screwed it up you best bet that that someone would get shot. Besides I really couldn't figure out who I could get to sign at a piercing salon for me to do it.
So one day I proceeded to walk on down to the local piercing parlor and see if they sold needles. I was in luck they sold sterile surgical steel needles so I bought myself a 14g one to start with. Then I picked out a nice green titanium bent barbell (5/8"). Still had to pick when I'd do it though. One morning I woke up and was like "I'm gonna do it tonight no matter what!"
So that night I was at a friend's house and we had just started drinking, and he was like "do it you pansy." I just said fine 2 more shots and i'll do it. I took 3 for good measure hehe. Then I proceeded to the bathroom where I set up my things. I had soaked the needle and jewelry in alcohol for 30 minutes prior to this. So I took a sharpie marker and marked where I wanted the needle to go through, then took the needle out and quickly patted it off. I took hold of the area, stretched it a bit, lined up the marks, and put the needle against the skin. I counted to 3 and then pushed, to my surprise it didn't really go in like I expected it to, there was a slight resistance and then just kinda "popped" through the skin. But there was almost no pain, just a little pinch was it. Since it's a hollow needle I put one end of the barbell in the end of the needle and threaded the needle all the way through and had the barbell in place and screwed on the ball. At first I didn' t know what to feel then all the sudden I got the biggest adrenaline rush and was grinning like an idiot. This is my first ever body mod and I was PUMPED!! Had to check in the mirror really quick and it looked so damned awesome, everything was straight and what not. I walked out and my friend just looked at me and laughed his ass off. I just nodded, laughed, and said yup I did it.
Well it's been a week since I did it now and it's perfectly fine. It didn't swell, bleed, hurt or anything. I soak it once to twice in a day in salt water (8 ounces of water to 1/4 TSP of salt) and cleaning it with antibacterial soap in the shower. Well my girlfriend can't wait to try it out and I can't wait to let her hehe.
I decided that 14g is too small and I'm gradually going to stretch it to a 10g and maybe even an 8g. Haha my girlfriend even convinced me to order a vibrating barbell for it hehe. I really wanna try and see if it works like she hopes it to. Future plans for piercings include tongue in a month or 2, and possibly a nipple or 2. Haha before this piercing I had not done any body mods and now I'm all for them.
I figured I'd add this on the end as an added precaution. DIY piercings are not recommended and certainly not safe. Mine turned out fine but that doesn't mean yours will. Please if you can go to a professional to have any piercings done.
