My fascination with body modification didn't really get going until my later years in college. I had considered getting my ears pierced in high school but never really found the time to go ahead and do it. Going to college though, you find yourself with a lot of time to do things that you never could before.

This was shortly followed by getting both ears done. This I guess sufficed me for a year or so until looking on the internet and finding BME with all the different genital piercings. I saw the Frenum piercing and decided that is what I wanted next.
It only took me about two weeks to finally decide that I was going to do it. I wasn't really into someone else handling my guy so I decided that I would do it myself. Though I do not recommend it. My one friend works at a tattoo and piercing parlor so with a little knowledge that came from him and the supplies that I would need, i was gonna do it. I bought a 14 gauge ring, piercing needle, and clamps and was ready to go.
The first thing that I did was mark the holes to make sure that the piercing was gonna be straight. After a couple nervous fumbles, I got the needle lined up and with a small little pinch, I was pierced. The adrenaline flowed and I really didn't feel any pain. There was virtually no blood that came from the piercing. I have to admit that it was a lot easier then when I got my ears pierced.
Getting the ring in was very simple too. The 14 gauge was thin enough that I didn't require pliers to open or close it, I could just pop the bead out and then back in once I inserted the ring. I must've looked at it for like 20 minutes not really believing that I had just pierced my own guy. I really liked how it looked immediately thought about what it would look like with another.
I had to be careful at first since I used a 14 gauge that I didn't rip anything. After about 3-4 weeks I was pretty much healed from the procedure without any problems at all. since then I have been able to stretch my piercing to a 8 gauge that is a little more of a sturdy piercing. I've had the piercing for about 6 months now and don't see myself taking it out anytime soon.
About three months after I had performed my first frenum piercing, I had decided that I would like to try a second Only this time I thought that I would like to try and get the piercing a little deeper this time. With the first frenum piercing I had virtually no discomfort during the healing time and figured a second one would be about the same as the first one.... I was a little wrong with that assumption.
Everything started just as before with marking the holes to ensure that it wasn't crooked except this time I was gonna go through a little more flesh. I proceeded to do my second piercing without a flaw. This time I followed the needle with a barbell instead of a ring though. Everything went in fine but I noticed that this piercing was a little more sore than the first time. So decided that I would just let it go keep it clean and it would be fine.
The next day I woke up t my new piercing still pretty sore, but looking very clean and good. I tried to carry out my regular day of work and then the gym but found it to be very uncomfortable and not really worth the pain I was having. I did really like it though so I tried another day of it and finally decided that one frenum piercing would be good for now. My next interest would be getting a PA. For that though I am definitely gonna get someone who knows what they are doing to perform that for me. I don't want to mess around with that.
I think that my reason for really wanting one is because it is something that nobody has to know about unless I want them to know. As of today, my girlfriend is still the only one that knows. After her initial, "Oh my god did it hurt" She started to like it. Plus it gives her a little extra to play with when she is pleasing me. We both get to enjoy the piercing and I have lately been trying to get her interested in her nipples being pierced. I definitely would recommend this as a great starter piercing for any guy who thinks they might be interested in getting his guy pierced.
