My piercing idea started around a year and a half ago when me and a friend of mine stumbled across the BME site. I wanted a piercing of some sort, but my parents are very devout Roman Catholics, so I would have to get something that could easily be hidden from them. What better place then my penis. Sticking a piece of extremely sharp metal into my little guy didn't phase me that much. I thought, "hey...pain is only temporary...piercings are rad"
At A Glance Author XQuizboX Contact XQuizboX@hotmail.com When Three months ago Artist Craig Studio Tectonics Location St. John's, Newfoundland I took a look at the variety of male piercings, and the least painful looking one, to me, was definitely the frenum piercing. I found out that to get that piercing professionally would cost around $90, and only getting $10 a week, it would be near impossible for me to save up that much money. So I asked one of my friends if he could pierce me, and he said that he could. I researched the piercing for around 3 months and learned how to pierce it correctly, after-care etc... because since it wasn't being done professionally, I would have to find all this information myself. So my friend scammed a 16 gauge needle from the hospital, and I bought a 3/8" 18 gauge straight barbell from a body jewelry store, and the night that my mom went away for 2 weeks, I went up to his house to do the deed.
I showed up, and he had everything cleaned and sterilized to the best of his at-home capabilities. We went up to his room, and I sat on his bed, and dropped my pants. He washed his hands with Spectro-Gram 2, and put on a pair of latex gloves. I did the same. He then clamped (he boiled the clamp, then soaked it in alcohol) my frenum, and got ready to pierce. He used a catheter needle, so that a little plastic tube would be left behind for easy insertion of the barbell. So he told me to take 3 deep breaths, and he pushed it through on the 3rd breath. The lack of pain really surprised me. All it felt like was a little pinch, and then it was over. I looked down, and seen a new piece of metal in my penis, and not a drop of blood. It looked great. The placement was perfect, and it was fairly deep so it wouldn't rip out. So I zipped up, congratulated him on a fine job, and went home. I washed it twice a day with Spectro-Gram 2, and gave it one salt-soak a day.
About 6 months later, I read that genital piercings smaller then a 10 gauge could possibly be ripped out, which really scared me. I thought about getting it stretched, but after talking to a friend of mine (not the same friend), he said it would be easier to just get it re-pierced with a bigger needle. "Delightful!" I said, and began to save up my money to finally get it professionally done at the only really professional piercing studio in St. John's, Tectonics. I knew that I really liked big piercings, so I decided to get a 6 gauge. When I saved up around $110, I went down to talk to Craig (the resident piercer) about it, and he said that he would have to specially order in this size needle and barbell, but it could be done.
So a couple of weeks after, the barbell and the needle had come in, so I went down to get cut. I wasn't nervous in the least about getting pierced until Craig showed me the needle. It was the biggest needle I have ever seen, and that had to be shoved through little me? Craig seen the fear in my eyes, and said that he had an 8 gauge, and a 10 gauge in stock, but I thought "Go big or go home", so I decided to stick with the 6 gauge.
I dropped my pants, and lied down on the table. He was getting all his tools ready, and I was getting more nervous by the minute. He told me that for the next few days, every time I would get erect, I would bleed profusely. I asked him how much it was going to bleed when he first pierced it, and said, "well...take this section of paper towel...cover it with blood and ring it out. That's how much you are going to bleed". Even more nervous then before, I still wanted to go through with it. I asked if it was ok that the barbell (and the hole) was already there. He said that it was completely fine, and asked if I wanted it in the same place. I told him that I did, so he clamped the area, and took out the existing barbell. He then asked me if I wanted any topical cream so that it would numb the skin, and I would feel less pain. I jumped at the opportunity, so he applied some and told me to put myself inside a glove which he had given me. When I was ready, he put the clamp back on, and with a little flashlight, checked for veins, and said to take 3 breaths. On the 3rd, he poked the needle through. I watched as the needle went in, but I wasn't sure if it actually did go in because I didn't feel a thing. Not even a tug. I asked if it was in, and he said it was. I looked again to make sure, and it was. But there was no blood. I asked if there was any blood, and he looked at it and with a surprised tone, he said no. He put the barbell in, and I stood up. The weight of the jewelry was something that I was not used to, and it felt really unusual to have such a weight hanging from the end of your penis. He told me about aftercare, gave me a pamphlet with the cleaning instructions in it, and I was on my way.
I was the happiest guy in the world when I came out of that shop. I drove up to my friends house, and showed them all the new piercing, and they were all flabbergasted. I was so proud of myself for having the balls to get a 6 gauge cock ring. We decided to walk around town for a little while, and that is when it started to bleed. And bleed. And bleed some more. I could feel the squishyness of the blood, and it felt disgusting. When I finally got the chance to take off my pants, I was covered in blood. By this time it was all dried and crusty, so I had to wash a load of clothes so that no one would find out.
That whole day I was waiting for my first erection with a huge piece of metal in me. But I didn't get one the entire day. I just passed it off, and said that it was no big deal. I knew that would get one in my sleep that night (who doesn't?). I went to bed that night expecting to be covered in blood when I woke up but when morning arrived, I did looked down to see that there was nothing. Not one drop of blood anywhere. I was starting to worry that maybe some nerve was hit and now I can't get erect anymore, so I started to masturbate a little. I could feel myself getting a little hard, and I was looking up at the ceiling, and when I looked down, there was streams of blood gushing out of my penis. It was one of the most terrifying/exciting things I have ever seen. I quickly ran over to the bathroom and jumped in the shower to wash all the blood off.
So after...hummm....usage...., I noticed that the hole was becoming more and more stretched. I talked to Craig about it, and he said that it normal, and not to worry about it. But if the hole is big enough so that the jewelry can fall out, then that could cause a problem. So one morning in the shower (on a day that I didn't have to work thankfully), the jewelry popped out through the hole. The hole had stretched big enough so that the balls on the end of the barbell could come out through the piercing itself. So I went down to Craig, who then put in a 6 gauge CBR. I asked if I could get a 4 or a 2 gauge barbell, but he said with the weight of them, the same thing would happen again. But he said that he could custom order me a hollow barbell which could cut the weight down significantly. So I asked him to get some quotes because I can imagine they would be quite expensive.
The hole appeared to be getting bigger and bigger, but now I think it has stopped stretching. I can now fit both the 6 gauge CBR and the 6 gauge barbell in with relative comfort, so im thinking about getting either a 2 gauge or a 0 gauge barbell for myself.
So some advice for would-be piercees...
- don't get below a 10 gauge. It really looks better and it doesn't hurt that much, so go bigger.
- if you don't want your piercing to stretch, don't use it vigorously for a couple of weeks after it was pierced.
- if you can't afford a professional piercer, read up on your piercing. Talk to as many people as you can about it, and make sure you properly sterilize everything you use. And don't use safety pins.
- as much as you want to, don't let anyone else's bodily fluids come in contact with your piercing. It's scary to see weird looking discharge coming out of your piercing.
Thanks for reading, and thanks to anyone who posted stories like this one before me. I found them to be extremely useful in deciding which piercing I wanted, and how to care for them.
