I went to see a friends band play and I won $25 for piercing at 3rd eye. I must tell you now that I am kind of addicted to body piercing. I'm not a big fan of ear piercing but everything else. I currently have 7 piercings which include 2 ears stretched to 8 gage, a PA at 8 gage, both nipples at 10 gage, belly button at 10 gage, and my band new frenum pierced at 10 gage with a straight barbell. All of my piercings except for the PA were done by Bonnie at Bear's Skin Art and all but the frenum and belly button are CBR's. She's really good and I was kind of hesitant about going to a new piercer.

Since I got my PA done about a year ago I've been thinking what else could I have done. See the problem is I teach Physical Education at a school and facial or visable piercings are frowned upon. I found BME a few years ago by accident. So I like reading all the stories and looking at the pictures. I find they help so much when you go to get stuff done, anyway enough babbling. I decided to get a frenum piercing. I figured it looks cool and there may be some sexual benefits from this also I won't get slack from this at work. So I called up the shop and spoke to Corey. He seemed to have all the answers to my questions so I decided to check out the shop. About a week later I went in just to see where it was, and how clean it was, and what kind of jewerly he had. Also I wanted to see past work that he did. He showed me all I needed to know so I decided to get it done that day. I had to go get some cash because they don't have interac and when I returned I had to fill out the required paperwork. With the paperwork came an aftercare sheet which you have to read before you can get anything done and you also get to take this home.

He preped the room and I went in. The room had a couple posters up on the wall and a doctors chair in the middle of the room. The chair is similar to the kind you find at a dentist office. It had a paper sheet on top of it for my protection. He was listening to rap music when I came in and you could here it in the piercing room. All of the tools he was going to use was laid out on a table for easy access. I was about to take my pants down when he stopped me. He wanted to make sure I didn't have any more questions before we started. Once he was satisfied and I was too the procedure commenced. I dropped my shorts and he put on some latex gloves. He then prepared to mark where the barbell was to be placed. He cleaned the area 1st. He then used a calliper to make sure that it was straight and that everything would fit right and would look good. He drew a T shape on the bottem of my penis. Where he placed the dots was where the jewerly was going to go. I looked at t he placement and I said it was fine and then he changed gloves again.

He told me as I was laying on the chair that he was ready to begin and told me to start beathing deep. A process I am very familiar with now, after 6 piercings you kind of know what to expect. I was relatively calm even though some guy is about to stick a sharp needle though my favorite body part. He clamped the forceps (which actually didn't pinch), I think because I'm not looking at what he was doing and continued breathing. He said take 3 dreep breaths and I felt a brief period of minor pain but not more than a tenth of a second and the needle was through. I couldn't believe that it was done that fast. The barbell followed and since the jewerly was internally threaded I didn't feel it go in at all. Next thing I know he's screwing the balls on the ends and I sit up to look at it. Amazing, I now have my frenum pierced and it looked as I imagined.

I put my shorts on and he went over the after care and gave me some sea salt to take home. Corey was really professional and kept me calm the whole time. I am planning on getting my septum done next with a spacer and I'll probably get him to do it as well. If you have any hesitations about this piercing I say ask questions and when you have all the answers then get it done. It really didn't hurt and their was hardly any blood. It's day 3 today and I hardly notice that I had it pierced. After care is simple. Just soak it in a saline solution twice a day and remove any crusties. There hasn't been much for crusties and it still a little swollen. I'm surprised that it didn't bruise. I expected that but it didn't happen. If you want to contact me for further questions regarding this or any other piercing that I have feel free to do so. The piercing plus the jewelry came to around $83 but remember I got $25 off with the coupon. So without it it's a little more than $10 0 to get it done which I think is a pretty good deal.
