I wanted a Prince Albert. I wanted it so badly. But I did some research on them and found some information that I was not too keen on. I heard that there is a chance you could lose the ability to stand up and pee. That is an important thing to me; I'm a typical guy. I have a bad case of bad luck, so I figured if I try to get a Prince Albert I'll end up in that group of boys that sit to pee. And I didn't want that at all. So I searched BME and decided I would get a frenum instead. I realized I was broke as a joke, because I was a college student. So I went and bought a 14 gauge captive bead ring for ten bucks; it was on sale half price at a skate shop in Burlington. Then I ordered two 14 gauge needles from the BME shop. See, I decided I would just do the piercing myself. I do NOT recommend you do this yourself, put out the money and have it done professionally. I had never done any piercing before and I figured it is just skin, what could I possibly do wrong. Right?

A little too fast, I was not prepared mentally yet. So they sat in my dresser drawer for a week, until I got my courage up. I had only told my brother so far about my plans. His words, "you're fucking nuts."
I came home from class one night and decided that night would be the night. So I gathered up the stuff I needed: A stainless steal bowl, some paper towel, the needles, the CBR, Bactine and put on Nora, the never ending you line. I boiled the CBR and clamps to sterilize them and went into my room and locked the door. I marked my in and out holes, clamped myself using the clamps I bought at a flea market in Kitchener, and began. I did not have it in me to just slam the needle through my skin. So I pushed it slowly and steadily. It didn't hurt much, felt kind of like a pinch. So when it finally went through my skin, I slide the CBR through as the needle came out. Locked the CBR and looked at it for a few minutes, oh so proud of my new toy. Walked over to the mirror and checked my self out. Not bad, but is it a bit crooked? It looks that way, can't be. Cleaned up and went about my usual activities.
The next day I got up, looked at my new piercing and not only had I done it crooked, but it was also too shallow. Man was I pissed off. So I took it out. That hurt a lot. The captive bead ring had dried blood on it. A lot of dried blood, and it hurt a lot to pull it out. It started bleeding as well.
I KNEW there was a reason I had bought two needles. So I waited for it to heal over. I waited three weeks and decided the time had come once again. So I gathered my needle, captive bead ring, clamp, bowl, paper towel, and Bactine. I sat in my computer chair and marked my spots, a little more carefully this time. I decided to do the piercing with out the clamp this time. It hurt more then the needles, and I'm not a big fan of pain. I started to push the needle in slowly. After a few minutes I thought to myself, "I'm gonna' start over again, I haven't even broken the skin yet." So I let the needle go, looked down and the needle was hanging from me, a rather unusual thing to see. It was half way through and I didn't even realize it. So I pushed it the rest of the way through. Slid the captive bead ring in and locked it up. Looked in the mirror, "fuck is it crooked again?" I could have sworn it was, but it was not. I was super happy. I had better placement, deeper and not crooke d. I sat and marveled at my new piercing. I flicked it around and giggled like a little school girl. So then I cleaned everything up and went about my normal night.
I was masturbating the next day, it hurt a bit. But not bad enough to stop me. I have had the piercing for a few months now. It's great. I love it. It looks good, it feels good. The ladies like it. I like it. For aftercare I was washing it twice a day with Bactine. This worked well.
Shortly after the piercing I noticed some keloid-looking things on both the holes. I messaged Shannon asking him what they were and what to do about them. They were sore and ugly. But by the time I could take a pic and send it in, they had disappeared.
I plan on stretching it to a 6 gauge.
Looking back on this experience, I sure am glad I ordered two needles. But I wish I had just had it professionally done. I highly recommend that everyone else get it done by a piercer.
