My Frenum Experience

Here I am in college back in 1994 and the Internet is brand spanking new to me. I spent hours in the computer labs (that would explain my failing first year), and through my surfing I somehow found BME. I was enthralled. I had no idea that people did this kind of things, wow. I now knew that my cutting and play piercing (now also saline infusions, electro shocks, soundings, skewering, a meatotomy,) were a widespread (well almost) practice. Hours upon hours I spent on BME, just gathering information, feeding my curiosity.
About me, you'd never expect that I'm a piercing freak, during the day, I'm a suit and tie kinda guy, but below it all, look out!. I've been into performing cuttings and play piercings for a long time. Actually as far back as I can remember. Safety pins, straight pins, nails the such are still good friends of mine. In total I've pierced, but subsequently removed, both my nipples, 2 frenums (I still have one), a hafada, a Prince Albert, a reverse p.a., a transcrotal, and last but not least an ampallang.
Fast forward to 3 years later, here I am with my girlfriend at the time and I decide to show her BME, and let her know about my desire to be pierced, at first I was worried about her reaction, but to my surprise, she loved it (to the point that we got both her nipples done, FUN!!), and we both decided on a frenum. So after much research I decided to get it done at Stainless Studios in Toronto. I show up for my piercing on a hot August night and fill out the standard forms and pay my money. While I was waiting I checked out the portfolios on the counter (some really cool stuff, I must admit). Ok, ok, so my heart was racing, 10 minutes later, a guy wearing a shirt with a patch sewn in that says "TOM" (as I later found out It was Tom Brazda) comes out and leads me to the impeccably clean piercing room. We have a little idle chitchat, and he asks me to drop my pants. Tom measured the area, marked the entry and exit spots with a sharpie, and asks my opinion. So here I am standing naked from the waist down with marker spots on my on the markings, perfect. Next thing I know I'm in the chair lying down staring at the ceiling and Tom is prepping the area with betadine, changes gloves yet again and places the clamp. Of course I made the rookie mistake of looking at the needle beforehand.....What a mistake! Now I was really nervous. Tom asks me to take deep breaths. I remember breathing deep and concentrating on the music that was playing (the Unforgiven, by Metallica) when I felt the needle go through, Ok I'm fine no major pain just a quick pinch, but the jewelry stung a little going in (damn threads), it was a 14ga barbell.
All that worrying and nervousness for nothing, the whole piercing was done faster than it took me for me to fill out the forms and get undressed. I finally got the cojones to look down and admire my newly adorned member, it was awesome. Not only was it straight (and still is), but the placement was perfect. I got dressed, discussed after care, thanked him again and left.
This is where the fun begins, as soon as we left, my girlfriend, asks to see my new hardware. Like I was going to say no. So I show her my new toy, she thought it was so hot that I was soon finding out the hard way that spit really stings in a fresh frenum piercing. Another thing that I don't advise is having sex less than an hour after the procedure. We rushed home to try it out (a very stupid thing in retrospect), she loved it, but it stung!
Since then my partners have all been fascinated by the frenum, they all seem to have loved it, which is a good thing, a very good thing. Curiosity also gets the best of people, I found myself showing it off a whole lot back in the day. Oh, and be prepared to answer stupid questions such as "Why??", or "Didn't that hurt??", I guess it all comes with the territory.
So to sum it all up, I've had the piercing for almost 4 years, and I love it. My fiancée loves it (which is always a bonus), and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking about it. I have no regrets whatsoever. It was done relatively pain free, healed quickly, and has proven to be pleasurable for both my partners and myself. Two words: IT ROCKS.
Ps look for my pictures soon!
