Over the summer, I got my first frenum done. I enjoy so much that I thought it was time for another one. So, I called Ron up and told him what I wanted to do. I wanted to get another one at 10 gauge, and also stretch my first one to 10 gauge. He said he would have to take a look at things and see if it could be done, but he thought that it should not be a problem. We went over the cost ($80) and he told me to just stop down whenever I wanted to do it.

I got there just as he was opening up the shop. It was refreshing to see that I would be the first one that he saw that day because that insured that he was "fresh" and his hands would not be tired from a long day of working.
I walked in and went over with him the things that I wanted to accomplish that day. We settled on putting in a 10 gauge 5/8 curved barbell in the old frenum while he would use a 10 gauge 3/4 curved barbell in the new one. He wanted to put a longer barbell in the new one just to ensure that it would be comfortable for me. As we walked to the room where he was going to pierce and stretch me, he told me how things were going to go. He told me that he first was going to stretch the old frenum, then pierce the new one. He explained to me that doing it in that order would be a little less stressful on my penis. He told me that he was going to pierce the new one at 12 gauge and then strech to 10 gauge because it would cheaper for me since I already was going to use a 10 gauge taper. As we got into the room, he told me to hop up onto the bed while he went over the token information that he goes over with everyone. He then asked if I had any questions about the procedure. Having had a frenum already, I knew what the piercing was going to feel like, and having stretched my lobes, I knew what to expect there too.
After that he showed me the needle and jewelry packets to assure me that they were fresh out of the autoclave and were sterile. As I was pulling my pants down, he took the taper out of the package and applied a lubricant to it so that it would easily slide through. He took the old barbell out of the old frenum and insterted the lubricated taper in right behind it. It stung a little bit, but it was not nearly as bad as it would be if he were piercing it again. After having me look at the stretching to make sure that it was what I wanted, he set up for for the new piercing. He marked the holes that he was going to pierce through, and then showed me them to make sure that I was happy with the projected placement. I then laid back down and prepared for the "fun" part of the afternoon. I then felt the clamp as he pinched the the fold of skin that he was going to pierce. He then told me to take three deep breaths and on the third exhale, he would pierce. So I took my breaths and on the third, he pushed the needle through and then immediately inserted the taper. All of this happened so fast that my brain did not really have time to register that it was supposed to hurt. Before I knew it, he had the new frenum done and I an was pulling up my pants and heading out back into the lobby.
Happy with the new piercing and the altering of the old one, I paid Ron and tipped him 10 bucks for doing such a good job. We talked for a while about the world of piercing and how the trade was starting to look like it is becoming more mainstream by the day. Ron told me that this was a double edged sword for him. Being more mainstream means more money, but Ron told me that he got into it not so much to make a lot of money, but rather for the spiritual and personal satisfaction that it gave him (but of course he is not going to turn down the increased business).
Healing went pretty non eventful and they both are doing nicely now. I have heard no complaints from my girlfriend so far. Who knows, maybe I will go back soon to add to my collection.
