My first time behind the needle

I'll start out by saying I'm a 16-year-old, and I just pierced my frenum last Friday, the 7th. About a year ago, my friend had gotten me into piercings, since then, I had stretched my left ear to 1/2", and my right on to 00ga, and then he started talking about frenum piercings. I looked at them one day, and I loved it, but I didn't really love the thought of someone else putting a needle close to my penis, so I forgot about that. Then, a few weeks ago, when I started to look around online for a place where I could order piercing needles. I have both of my ears pierced now, and I wanted to do them again. I also wanted to do my lip, but I can't do that yet because of some issues.

Well after looking around for a while, I found a place that had autoclaved needles for $.50 each, and I thought that was pretty cheap so I wrote down the address of the place and made my list of items I wanted. Then I thought why not order a 14ga barbell and needle so I could do my frenum? The barbell was a surefit one, meaning the threads slide into the needle. I thought it won't be hard to get it, and it was only $4, so if I wussed out, I wouldn't be losing much money, and I could always sell it to a friend or something, because a few of my friends are into piercing too. Well I told my friends about the cheap prices, and 4 other people wanted stuff too. One of my friends who I've known for about a year and a half even asked me to do his frenum, I was VERY reluctant to do this, so I said I might be able to do it. I knew there were veins and nerves I could hit, but with the help of a flashlight, it's very easy. So I order say I'll do it, and I order all the supplies.

About 2 weeks later, I get everything. So I go to school, and make sure my friend still wants his frenum done, and he does, so I said I'd do his, then I'd do mine, and my earlobes again. He says that's cool and then we just wait. Then Friday is here. He comes over my house and I told him to go wash off and get something to drink so he can get calm and relaxed, meanwhile I get out the needle (still in the wrapper, I'm not stupid), and rubber gloves, and get the barbell. Well he comes back and he's calm, so I asked if he was reading then, and turned the TV on. I made the marks with a fine point marker, and asked if they were of his liking, he agreed, I checked for veins and nerves, all was fine, so I told him I was about to do it. He said "well come on and get it over with". So I put on fresh rubber gloves, and grab the needle. I got the needle in fine, and he said it only pinched for a second. Then I put some Bacitracin on the needle so it'll slide easier, and got out the barbell and put it on the end of the needle. I slid that in and he didn't even notice. I told him to be careful with it, and he could always ask me if he had any questions or problems. His ride was here so he had to leave right then, and I wished him luck. Well later on, around 2am, I decided I would do mine before the night was over.

I waited till around 4am, and I got a new needle out and got the barbell out too. I made the marks, checked for veins and nerves; it looked fine, so I pierced it. It pinched at first, but after that I didn't feel any pain. I put Bacitracin on the needle, and put the barbell on and slid it in. It only bled a little bit, just a few drops. So I went into the bathroom and washed the blood away, and went to sleep. When I woke up the next day, it didn't hurt, and I only had a tiny bit of crusties. It's now Sunday and everything is going fine, no more bleeding, no pain when I get erections or anything like that. Looking back on it, I'm very happy with the turnout, and very lucky everything went so perfectly.
