Something to Play With

Well, it all started several years ago when a girlfriend of mine had an obsession to get her nose pierced. I was not used to any type of bod mods and definitely didn't want her to get it done. However, one day we decided to take a little drive and by the time we returned home she had an earring in her nose.

As time wore on I became more interested in piercings until one day saw a pictorial in a skin mag showing several different genital piercings. This piqued my interest because genital piercings were not very well heard of in the mid 90's at least I hadn't heard of or even seen any up until that point (I must have lived a sheltered life). I decided to do a bit more research on the net and finally convinced myself that I was going to get my frenum pierced. It seemed like the tamest of the genital piercings and from the articles I had read it gave the male some pleasure. A quick pinch test on the frenum also revealed that the pain factor is relatively minimal. So with that I was off to get it done. I found a place in downtown Ottawa that did genital piercings and had my frenum pierced. The piercer used a 14ga cbr and there was little pain but lots of bruising, especially the next couple of days. After all was said and done I paid my money and walked away with my own little secret. For the next couple of weeks there was a constant pinching until one day I decided to hell with this and took it out.

Jump ahead 5 years to present day. I've since had both of my nipples pierced, however one of them was too crooked and started to grow out so I took it out. My girlfriend often likes to play with my cbr and a few times when we've been playing around I've asked her what she thought of me getting my frenum pierced. I think the first time she thought I was joking but after mentioning it a few more times, she came to realize that I was serious. We enjoy our time together and because of the healing time involved the occasion never arose until just recently. Something came up and we were going to be apart for two months which would give my frenum time to heal. Prior to her departure I mentioned the pierce once more and she said she didn't have any opposition to it.

As soon as my girlfriend left I phoned around the shops in town to find a place to get it done. After a couple of calls, I found Skintastic. The receptionist indicated on the phone that they would rather make appointments than have drop-ins, especially for a piercing such as this. Already I had a good feeling about this place because the previous piercer I went to in Ottawa took straight walk-ins. I made my appt for the soonest possible time that was agreeable to both parties involved. The time came and I finished work early that day so I decided to head down early. There was a little confusion with finding the studio but once I did things went smoothly. I walked in and mentioned that I was there for my appointment and indicated that I was early. The piercer was just finishing up with a client and had nothing else booked. I had a curved bb from my previous pierce I intended to use but because it was anodized I was told it would be better to go with something stainless. I also had a CBR but because of my previous frenum pierce I decided that I would forego that jewelry. I mentioned my past experience to the piercer and he suggested going with a 12ga straight barbell. I looked at it and thought yea, that would be good, no pinching. We discussed the process, I climbed up on the table and after some careful positioning we did some breathing - 1 inhale - exhale, 2 inhale - exhale, 3 inhale - exhale, ooh the needle is through no pain at all. The reverse procedure, inserting the barbell, caused a bit more pain when the threads went through but all in all it was even less pain than a bee sting. I looked down and the positioning was perfect, the barbell was straight and there was not a drop of blood. Up I got, put my pants on and it was done.

It's been a week now and things are still excellent. There was no bleeding, no bruising, and one of the most important things there's no pinching. It will still be several weeks before my girlfriend gets home but I can't wait till she does. I've been trying to convince her to get something pierced but thus far haven't been unsuccessful. Maybe now she will think again and give me a little something to play with.
