My first Piercing....Anywhere

About two and a half weeks ago...I did it...I decided to get the frenum piercing I been contemplating for weeks. After telling my friends that I was going to do it, in a half joking manner, mostly to test their reactions, I decided to go with my friend Kaf to get it done.

I was extremely nervous about the whole procedure as I have never had any type of piercing done in my life. Why, you ask, did I start with my frenum? Well, I am a pretty conservative guy and in my profession, body piercing is frowned upon. So, I didn't want to get a visible piercing and I also didn't want to pierce my nipples. So, I started doing research...months of it. Most of my findings were on BME and I discovered that frenum piercings were the least painful and I thought the coolest looking. I had a need to do something crazy and this certainly was crazy, at least for me.

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and Kaf and I took the T into Boston where Tribal Ways is. The place was very clean and also very busy. Yet, among all the craziness, I got the attention I felt I needed. While waiting in the waiting room, one of the owners went over aftercare with me and discussed some of my concerns with me.

He told me that I could start "using" it as soon as I felt comfortable and that I would have to wear a non-lubricated condom for the first three months to prevent infection. He told me about the 2 showers and salt soaks I would have to do daily in addition to the Bactine applications and Aveeno soaks.

Finally, it was time to go into the piercing room. The room was very clean and there was a dentist-like chair in the center. I was told by a very nice piercing assistant to take off my pants and boxers and that she would go and get the piercer for me when I was ready. As I was waiting, half naked in the chair, I saw lots of tools, including the needle, on a table to my right. This site was not to pleasant and scared me a ton. So, when the piercer came in, I told him that I was scared shitless and that I had never done anything like this before. He calmed me down and told me that it really was not that bad of a piercing and that I should relax a little. While he was cleaning the area to be pierced, we talked about all sorts of stuff and then he did the markings for where it would go. It was decided that I should get a curved barbell. The piercer then clamped my frenum to get it ready to be pierced. This was very uncomfortable but bearable. I then was told to take three deep breaths and while holding the third one, he slid the 14g needle through my frenum. There was a very intense mili-second of pain but no blood and I was immediately out of discomfort. I had my eyes closed until that point but decided to look down and make sure everything went smoothly. When I did, I saw a long needle going through the underside of my penis. This was an indescribably weird feeling. The piercer exchanged the needle with the curved barbell, which surprisingly didn't hurt at all. I was a little nervous to stand up and walk, but it was not a problem either.

I decided not to tell people (except a few) until a couple of days ago because I wanted to get used to the idea first. Kaf was the first to see the piercing and she thought it looked really cool, as did I. It is healing just fine. I only had one problem. The first time I jerked off it bled a little and that scared me a lot because it didn't start bleeding until I started cuming. In any case, it was just a bad coincidence and I would recommend that you wait longer than two days to masterbate. I haven't had any problems since and it feels great. The only other thing to watch out for is not getting piss on it when you pee because that stings like a bitch. Just be careful!

All in all, I am very happy with my new piercing, its healing, and especially Tribal Ways. The pain was very bearable and very quickly relieved. I would recomend this piercing to all. I can't wait to start really using it and to switch to a straight barbell. I really wanted a straight barbell originally but as time goes on, I am liking the curved barbell more and more.
