Self frenum piercing

Let me first introduce myself. I am French, 24 years old man, so forgive me if you think my English is somehow limited. I lived in Paris and moved to Montreal just 2 months ago.

I have been interested in body modifications since I was about fifteen years old. I had a special interest in what could feel somebody tattooed or pierced. But, as I am a bit shy and I did not want to move openly against the opinions of my family, I just kept dreaming about it until I was twenty and moved in my own apartment. I then played from time to time with my body, piercing my ears and nostrils with pins to experience the sensations. But these experiments did not last more than a few days. One year after, I went in a professional piercer and got my left nipple pierced. I even tried to do a sort a circumcision, cutting my frenum with cissors. I did not cut much more than a few millimeters actually, but, God!, I have never seen so much blood. I spent the following days with tissues wrapped around my sex.

We are now coming to the subject of this post, which is my frenum piercing. It did not seem really extreme to me, as I had already tried to pierce my foreskin a couple of times. that is the reason why I didn't went to see a professional piercer. But I was then decided to keep it. I was afraid, before this time, that piercing my sex would have negative effects on my sexual life. I was 23 and my girlfriend was studying abroad, so I felt it was the right time to do it. It would have plenty of time to heal before we have sex again. Like my past experiments, I did it at home, with a safety pin. Somebody wrote here that he would not advise anybody to do it like that, but I think that it is one of the few piercings that are really easy to do by you. Or so I thought. The right place to put the needle is evident, and you just have a piece of skin to go through. As long as you respect a few basic rules, it remains safe, and it doesn't bleed at all. That was important to me because I am used to bleeding a lot, and it happened with all my former piercings, except the foreskin and frenum piercings.

So, after taking a shower, I chose a safety pin that is neither too huge, nor too small, because it would have pinched my foreskin. I sat on the edge of the bed with my safety pin and some alcohol-free antiseptic (because alcohol burns the wounds). I cleared my hands, my sex and the needle. I took the needle, shivering as usual and wondering how mad I was to do that. I pressed it against my frenum. I felt the pain when it went through the first side and I had to make it pierce the other side without slipping. I learned from my past experiments that it is the most difficult part of all self done piercings. I took a little break to relax and stop shivering, then pressed harder until I succeeded. I then closed it (not so easy to do when it goes through your sex) and decided to keep it for at least a few days, because I knew how difficult it can be to put some jewelry in a freshly pierced hole, when not having the adequate tools.

During the next three days, it was painful, but not as much as I thought. I tried to move as little as possible (I could walk anyway) because the movement of my legs could make it shift from a horizontal position to a vertical position. In this case, the safety pin pinched my foreskin. I discovered it was actually the main source of pain. When I was sitting, I almost didn't feel it at all.

I washed it as much as possible (at least twice a day) with an antiseptic. I also used an ointment that helps healing. I then decided to get a more adequate jewelry. I bought in a supermarket a pair of earrings. The smallest and the most basic I could get. I also chose them so that I could put one in the hole with the safety pin still incompletely removed. After those efforts, I wanted more than just a bleeding hole and no way to put something inside, like it happened to me so many times before. Fortunately, it succeeded, and I felt no more pain since this moment.

I have kept this ring since then for about six month, sometimes playing with it and stretching the hole (I could put both rings of the pair in it at the same time). It is now fully healed. I have just bought a more "classic" circular barbell, which is more convenient that my earrings, and easier to manipulate. I also bought it in order to have sex with my girlfriend without hurting her. She said she too would like to play with it, and maybe get a piercing herself. I hope I will soon have more to tell you about it, and also some clear photos to send.
