Frenum and lorum piercing |

Ever since my first trip to Amsterdam three years ago when I saw photogra[hs of men with PA guiches, other genital piercings, and all body tattooing in postcards by Stephan Richter, I have been fascinated with the idea of body modification. I got my first tattoo six months later and a pierced nipple while on holiday in sydney last year, but last week I decided to go for it and get my first genital piercing. I gave a lot of thaught to the type of piercing I wanted. I have two friends with PA's, but I have to be honest, the idea of piercing muscle tissue and not just skin doesn't appeal to me. I read as much info as I could on BME and rang some local piercers to ask additional questions as to what is to be avoided during healing etc.The one piercing I have allways been facinated by is the frenum ring, ever since those photo's in Amsterdam. Just for good measure I decided to get a lorum done at the same time. What appeals to me about both these piercings is that they are not immediatley obvious, this is important to me as I go to the gym 3 times a week, and I prefer keeping this kind of thing between myself and more intimate aquaintances.Having rang up most of the piercing companies in Bristol, I chose pierced up as they were the most informative, were specialised piercers while many of the others were Tattooists with a sideline and seemed to have more experience with genital piercings than any of the others. I called in and met the piercer, talked over some of the details and made an appointment for a Saturday as i don't have to work.
When the day came I went for my last swim for the next month and turned up at the parlour less nervous than i had expected, and certainly less nervous than i had been with my first piercing and tattoo. I was shown from the well lit and bright waiting room with windows onto the street that looks more like a hairdressers than anything else into the studio itself which in sheer contrast was a lot more like a doctors surgery with white walls lots of sterilisation equipment and very little art work. I was told to take off my trousers and underwear and lie back on the padded table against the head rest. First he talked me through the procedure and disinfected the bases of my penis and under my glands before measuing and marking the spot for the lorum, this was a little tickleish and I was also very embaressed at first but I soon got over that. When it camt to marking up the frenum it took a little more time and the occasinal pinching sensation convinced me it would probably be more painfull than the lorum.
After marking up he put the foreceps in place for the lorumand shone a beam through the spot to be pierced to make sure there were no bloodvessels. When he finally put the needle through I felt a single short sharp pain which was shortly followed by a second pinch as the ring was put through and closed. All in all the lorum pierceing was actually less painfull than the nipple had been.
When he closed the forceps to check for bloodvessels on the frenum it did pinch quite painfully and I was hopeing to get it over with as quickly as possible, unfortunately, he found a bloodvessel and had to mark it up a second time. When he was finally done and closed the forceps for the piercing I was already feeling red raw with pain under the glands and was bracing myself far more nervously than the firsr time. Fortunately the pain when it came while certainly a little more intence than the first time, was over just as quickly.
When he was finished I finally looked down to see my new piercings for the first time. The Jewellry looked a lot bigger than I had imagined especially since my penis was all shrivelled, but I thaught it looked great and was very happy with the end result. I was quite surprised to find that i wasn't in any pain walking home, although I did make sure of not walking to quickly, and was very aware of the new sensation in my genitals.
IT is now almost two weeks later and the healing process is going well. I am cleaning the piercings twice a day. The piercings haven't effected my workouts at the gym appart from the fact tha I can't go swimming for a month or so. The other limitation is of course during sex. Whilest I can't have penetrative sex while the lorum heals, and can't have oral sex without a condom because of the frenum, the sensations given by the frenum bar during hand jobs mean the sex certainly isn't boring.
As a last word i would certainly recomend pierced up to anyone in th Bristol area, they are friendly, profeesional and informative - everything you would want from a piercer, and I am certainly looking forward to my next visit in 10 weeks time to get my finally get my bwr replaced with a frenum ring.
