First, let me start off by telling you something about myself.

I have 16 years and I have loved piercings & tattoos ever since I can remember. I have 4 piercings and unfortunately, no tattoos. I have a lobe piercing since I was 4, but I don't wear it anymore, but the hole didn't close; a labret – central lower lip (for 8 months) and central tongue piercing (for 7 months). My fourth piercing is what I'll be telling you about today.

Male genital piercings have always looked cool to me, and I always wanted one but was too young and too scared to to it myself. I live in Croatia and here you can't get genital piercings until you're 18. I decided on a foreskin piercing while browsing through BME. I knew that I couldn't get a Prince Albert which btw. I'm getting when I turn 18, so I decided on a foreskin piercing because it's private, well hidden and easy to do it yourself (of course if you know what you're doing).

The day I decided I'd do my new piercing was normal. I wasn't very nervous. I went to school and when I was coming back from it, I bought supplies I'd be needing. Since we in Croatia don't have drug stores as in America (where you can get everything at the same place – needles, gloves, medicine etc.) I had to go to several shops. First I went to a shop that sells hospital stuff and I bought alcohol wipes, a couple of iv. cannulas and a pair of gloves. Then I went to a pharmacy and got some pre-sterilized gauze.

I went home, ate something and after that I locked myself in my bathroom with all the supplies I needed. I took a shower and cleaned my penis with antibacterial soap and wiped myself off. Everything was prepared on a small tray – a cannula, gloves, a 14GA 16mm barbell and gauzes & stuff.

I put on gloves and cleaned my penis with an alcohol wipe and removed the cannula from its original wrapping. By this time, my heart was pumping crazily and my hands were shaking a bit. For a minute or so, I actually thought that I couldn't do it!

I gently pressed the cannula to my foreskin and pushed gently to see how much will it hurt me; it didn't hurt at all, so I quickly pushed it through my skin. I felt a sharp pain and the cannula popped on the other side of my foreskin.

I tried to push the cannula all the way, but I couldn't get it to move, as it was stuck so i did something very STUPID – I used some cream as a lubricant which stung a lot!

Anyways, I managed to get the plastic tube through the hole and I removed the needle part of the cannula, cut the tube and inserted the jewllery. That didn't hurt at all, so I just cleaned the barbell and tightened the balls. There was only a couple of drops of blood.

I showered myself again to calm down because I had a terrible adrenaline rush and I was shaking. When I dried myself, I put a gauze on my penis and wore tight boxer shorts.

Some people say that walking is weird, but I didn't have any problems at all. It didn't hurt and I was grinning like a mad man all day.

The first night was kinda weird and I bled a little. In the morning, the area around my piercing was red and a bit swollen. That was normal, I guess. My aftercare was simple – sea salt soaks few times a day etc... I won't describe everything because I think it isn't neccesary.

I love my piercing and the healing time went great, everything is great and I can't wait to turn 18 to get a PA! Today is exactly 3 months since I pierced myself. Since then, I stretched the piercing to a 12GA and down-sized my barbell to 12 mm.

P.S. I didn't tell you a few things:

1. The position of the piercing is on 6 o'clock when my penis is flaccid (I couldn't describe it better, sorry)

2. I was very stupid to try to do it myself, there is an infinite number of factors that could have gone wrong. I was just lucky, so don't try to pierce yourself because results can be life threatening.

3. This is actually my second foreskin piercing, but I didn't tell you before because I didn't think it was neccesary. My first one started to migrate so I removed it, and I pierced myself with a normal sewing needle and forced a barbell through the hole. Anyways, that's another story.

If you have any questions and comments, feel free to send me an email :)
