I began experimenting with genital modification quite early when I was 15 years old.

I'm not circumcized, so I have a foreskin. At first it was my frenum (the little ridge of skin between foreskin and head of the penis) that got some attention. To me it seemed there was something wrong as I could not pull my foreskin totaly back because of it. I tried to pull it off, thinking it will just come loose as it didn't come loose by natural way.

At last I tried to cut the frenum with scissors, but I cut just a little and it started bleeding quite profusely, so I backed out.

Quite some time later in my 17th year I got interested in infibulation as I read an article in one of local X magazines. So I tried some non-invasive methods first, like a straw and an elastic band, but that made my foreskin apear blue after a few hours, so I had to remove it.

That's when I went crazy (I learned that after reading Body Modification FAQ, but I guess I was young and stupid back then). One day I prepared a sewing needle and some silk thread. I dipped it in some alcohol (90% solution).

I started by applying some ice to my foreskin. I had the ice on for 10 minutes, but then I got so cold I decided to go ahead.

I pulled the foreskin with one hand and started my infibulation. I just pressed the needle through both sides of the foreskin and repeated that for four times, ending on the other side of foreskin. It was like I had four stitches, through both sides of now flat foreskin. It didn't hurt a lot ( I guess ice did some work), but when I released the grip the thread between two layers of skin moved. As I didn't expect for a lot of bleeding I was surprised as it started bleeding inside the foreskin. Soon my foreskin swelled some, but I decided to just let it be.

I left the thread in for one day. The removal of the thread was much harder thing to do as I tried to do it. Since the thread moved it got somehow stuck and as much as I pulled it wouldn't move. I got real scarred as some 10mm of thread still remained between two layers of skin. In panic I succeded to pull the thread out. The swelling remained for a few days and my foreskin went from blue to purple to green to yellow.

That was the end for my body modification. I haven't tried anything new since.

I guess I was very lucky. As I've read the FAQ I learned how many mistakes I've made. It's quite bad there are no qualified piercers where I leave, as I would like to have a foreskin piercing, but I wouldn't do it myself anymore.
