This world of piercing is quite fascinating - particularly when I find that I have been doing many of the things that are written up in BME without knowing what they were called or that others were doing the same things.
It has been very rewarding to me to be reading about the various piercing experiences in BME and I have discovered that some of my not-too-successful piercing were due to not being done correctly. I appreciate the information I have found in these pages and it has renewed my interest in continuing on with piercing and I intend to try several more advanced piercing now.
I first tried piercing my foreskin several years ago. I used a large needle (sterilized by boiling) and a piece of made-up jewellery - I made the first piercing and it was quite successful. I proceeded to stretch it into a larger sized hole by using progressively larger rings until I was using a piece about 1/8" in diameter. This piercing healed up quite quickly (weeks) and I did not have any trouble. I then did three more, also through the foreskin - two of these were successful and one migrated out. My next piercing (these were over a couple of years) was through the shaft skin about half way between the head and scrotum - it was done the same way. This one took longer to heal and began to migrate to the surface but then stabilized. All these piercing remain today and have not grown back in, even though I don't wear jewellery on a regular basis (actually quite irregularly).
My next piercing was to be a PA (even though I didn't know it had a name). I used a large needle down the inside of the urethra and out along the bottom, near the base of the head. There was almost no pain and the effect was absolutely wonderful. This worked so well that I added another piecing beside this one, using a smaller piece of jewellery - this was a mistake. These two holes immediately migrated together into one hole (still O.K. as it was now larger, but peeing was messy), then this new hole then migrated out toward the tip. I was left with a slit below the head. An Idea!! I then began lengthening the slit downwards, a little bit at a time. This was neat! I eventually cut downward, through the cartilage that links across the urethra near the base of the head, until I now have a slit along the underside of my penis just over a ½ inch. I believe this is called a meatotomy (or is it a subsicion?). If I lengthen this slit any more, I will have to cut through the foreskin - a thought I have been contemplating. An interesting note - I had to cut through a web of skin across the urethra, inside the penis head, to allow straighter peeing. Sometimes I have no problems now, sometimes I encounter the shower effect. I find that working the foreskin back and forwards helps this - when I find the right spot, the shower effect diminishes and I can pee much straighter.
I am also using larger and larger tubes inside the urethra to enlarge the urether. I am now comfortably taking a 3/8" tube, approx. 6" long. I hope to keep working up in size to at least 1/2 inch. I'm also interested in scotal stretching, using, probably, leather. I have experimented very briefly with this, but much more needs to be done. I also regularly pierce my nipples, allowing them to close up again after a day. I use clamps to extend the nipple enough to make room for the piercing so it will not begin to migrtate out. I find these play pircings very pleasureable, although I will probably make them permanent one day.
I am also interested in scrotal piercing - through the skin only. I was always under the impression that by penetrating the scrotum itself would allow air inside, causing no end of problems. I see, in BME, many examples of piercings made through the scrotum with jewellry inserted - does this not cause any problems from infiltration of air into the scrotal sac?
[No, a solid skin tube is formed. No air enters the scrotum. -ed.]
My continued efforts will be to extend the slit along the underside of my penis a little further (to maybe 3/4 inch long) and to split the head slightly back from the opening on the top side of the head, unless I try a reverse PA. Scrotal pirecings are still an option when I know they are safe. I now know enough to make any additional skin piercings (shaft skin, in particular) quite a bit deeper to help prevent migration out. I enjoy perusing the BME site and look forward to seeing the extreme site (although I'm not sure that it's for me - at least not yet).
