I am 50 and live in UK.I carried out my first modification when I was 15 and still at school. Having looked at text books on anatomy I split my frenum in stages over perhaps 2 weeks so as to not make it too obvious if I had to undergo any physical examination! Until quite recently any modification to your body was perceived to be very strange and comments were made on your medical notes. Sucessful in my split frenum, I much later decided (when I was 26) to give myself a P A ,which I did fairly painlessly by surrounding the operational site with a freely obtainable ointment called Anethaine (Torbet Laboratories Ltd of Maidstone Kent UK). Being unaware that the peircing I had done was not that uncommon I used a plastic ring instead of stainless jewelry, but with no ill effects. 4 years ago I thought it might be fun to peirce my foreskin and then perhaps stretch the resulting hole. I decided to use a scapel to get the peircing started. Again I used Anethaine but I had to be careful as to where I started the cut as there are several blood vessels (and nerves !!) beneath the skin . I decided to ligature a vessel that was in the way, using Dental Floss as it is strong enough and flexible. Sucessful with a small cut, over several weeks I extended the original split by cutting so that I could pass an 30mm tube through it. Pleased with that sensation I embarked in a matching split diametrically opposite, using the same proceedure as before. Great fun in having three large holes in your foreskin. Along the way I severed at least two nerves which did give me a 'little shock' at the time! In between doing my PA and foreskin, I embarked in a meatomy , which has now meant that I have lost my ring, but I have started to open up a few holes in my urethra , nice sensation. I am lucky in that I am healthy and a very quick healer and thus far I have had no trouble with infections or uncontrolled bleeding - a little of which I feel is cleansing.
