Back in January I pierced my frenum, and was very happy with the result. It looked good, felt good, and my Girlfriend loved it!
At A Glance Author Munch Contact Munch@bme.anon When Three months ago Artist Myself Seven months later I went from a 14g to a 12g bar, and started to think of some other piercing I could get. I thought long and hard about getting a PA, the only thing putting me off was the thought that I might end of pissing in different directions. Not a good thing to do. Especially at work. I decided on a pair of dydoes in the end. Mainly because of the look (pretty cool) and the sensations it gives the wearer and their partner(s) – at least that's what I read!
I already had the needles and a needle pusher, which I'd got from the net from a store in Aussie. I got some EMLA cream from the hospital that I work in. I like piercings for the look and sensations, the pain bit - nah. Yeah, soft cock, I know.
Now, I've done reproductive anatomy at varsity, and a bit of microbiology, and I work with patients at a hospital. So I believe I know at least a little about the anatomy of the penis, and of the fundamentals of sterile technique, and of the dangers of cross contamination. Also, I did a far amount of reading up about dydoe piercings before even getting close to my dick with a needle. It would be very hypocritical to warn people off about piercing themselves, so I won't, but I will suggest very strongly that you research as much as you can about what you want to do, and sterile technique is very very crucial!!!!
I woke up one morning and decided to do it. I wasn't going to be at work for a couple of days, so figured it was a primo time to do the deed.
Had a bath. Spent an extra long time cleaning everything. Put a generous amount of EMLA cream on, and put a condom over on. Really difficult when you're soft!!!
While I was waiting for the cream to do its magic, I read a magazine and had something to eat. Sugary stuff to really pump of the blood glucose levels!!
After 45 minutes or so, I got the piercing stuff ready. I took the condom off, and gave my head an experimental poke. Hmm, kind of felt something. Put the gloves on. I then cleaned the area with an alcohol swab, and waited for it to dry. Once this had happened, I marked roughly where I wanted the piercings to go with a black felt tip. Got the first needle out, put it in the pusher, smeared Vaseline over the needle, and put the tip against one of the black dots. I began to push, slowly and firmly. It hurt a little when it first went in, but only a little, and then didn't hurt at all. When it came out the other side, I couldn't believe it. Here was this needle sticking out of the head of my dick. Fuck!!!!!! I got the bar, braced it up against the base of the needle, and slowly pushed, worried all along that I would lose the hole. But I didn't , and it went through ok, and I screwed the ball on, and it was done. Woohoo!! The next one went in much the same, but there was quite a bit of blood when the exit hole was made, and this made me feel a bit fucking squeamish, and sick, but ho hum I preserved and got the bar in, sweet as.
There was no pain, though I did take a couple of paracetamol tablets afterwards, just in case. Very little bleeding, which surprised me. The only problem I had was with hard-ons. I was getting those early morning stiffies, and they hurt!!!! I think I was having a lot more than usual too, and the bastards wouldn't go away, they stayed for ages!!!! It was because the bars were too short for my head when I got hard, so the balls at each end were pressing against the holes. No probs, I changed to slightly longer bars. I have to admit I was worried that this would be more painful than the actual piercing, but no, they were changed with no hassles.
After waiting 2 or 3 weeks i had sex with them, and yep, it hurt. It hurt again the next time as well. But soon enough, it stopped hurting, and began being nice. My Girlfriend likes them. The people that know about them are impressed. More so that I did it myself, than anything else. I tell them to give the EMLA the credit for this.
I'm very happy with the result, and am wondering what to do next!
