Let me start with a little history. Around five years ago I decided to get my navel pierced. Why? It was something to do. It took around a month to heal; all in all I love it. I thought that was going to be the extent of my piercings, until I was surfing the web one day and came across this web site.

Just out of curiosity, I clicked on the male piercing category. As I flipped through the different styles of piercings I just couldn't understand how these guys could do that kind of stuff to themselves. Then I came across the dydoe piercings. In a heartbeat I became one of those guys. I decided to read some of the stories, to make me fell better about having it done. All that did was make me more nervous.

New Years' Eve came along; I knew this was the day. I got there around eleven thirty in the morning. The place was completely void of customers. I told the lady at the counter that I wanted to get a double dydoe. She asked me when the last time I ate was and I told her, "Last night." She told me to go home and eat something. I tried but I was so nervous I almost threw it all up. Back down to piercing shop I went. When I walked in I could hear the buzz of someone getting a tattoo and a few people were standing around watching. I was surprised I even noticed as nervous as I was. The lady at the counter told me it would be one hundred and forty dollars for a double dydoe. I said, "I got one twenty." She said, "Cool." In the chair I went. The piercer turned out to be a female and it didn't bother me a bit. I was way too damn scared to even think about popping a wood in fact I don't think I've ever seen it as small as it was right then.

She started to mark me up, making sure that everything was straight. She made a couple of marks, then erased one and made another. The piercer told me I was large enough that she could use clamps instead of doing it free hand. "This would relieve some of the pain involved because it will go a lot faster," she said. She placed the clamps and then asked me if it was too tight. It was just right, until she squeezed down on them. That wasn't so bad, I thought. Then she told me to take a breath just before pushing the needle through. Holy shit, that hurt. "Are you ready for the next one?" she asked. "Do it," I said. This time I knew what was coming so it hurt even worse. The pain only lasted for a half a second as she pushed the needle through then, it was like I couldn't feel a thing. She pulled the needle out as she put the barbell in and I didn't feel a thing. Afterwards, I walked out to my car and sat down. Right away I started popping a wood.

The same day after I had it done it only hurt a little bit and I did walk kind of funny but not bad. Needless to say I didn't party much that night. The worst part of the whole thing has been not popping a wood while I'm healing. Every time I do it bleeds just a drop or two out of each hole. I've found that the mornings are the worst; God it's hard not to be hard.

So far everything's looking pretty good, I've tried just about all there is as far as aftercare. In the mornings when I'm in the shower I use nutrobiodic for cleaning, and at night I use the sea salt treatments. The sea salt does pull all of the crap off, but after a couple of days it started to dry my skin out. The barbells they gave me had a slight curve in them so There has-been a little bit of sensitivity when I'm warring jeans but only because the barbells try to roll over when they rub. I was able to solve the rubbing problem with a little bit of medical tape; it kept every thing in place. The piercer told me that soaking with a warm chamomile tea bag would relieve some of the sensitivity, so I tried it, and for me it didn't work.

It's a week later almost and I can't wait to give my new dydoes a try. I sware when I get hard it almost looks like my dick got bigger after the piercing, if not it definitely gets way harder then it ever did before.
