At the relatively advanced age of 28, I had myself circumcised. My girlfriend at the time had suggested it, and I had been contemplating it for some time. I was very happy with it, because sex was much better, and my penis was much cleaner.
I was having a great time with my newly circumcised penis, and so were my partners. I had never realized how much most women prefer the circumcised penis.
Over time, the corona (the ridge at the base of the head) "flared out" a bit, and this felt great to me. Also, my girlfriend raved about the sensation, talking about feeling a "piston ring" inside her vagina.
One day, she showed my an article about Indonesia, and the customs there. Apparently, the Indonesian men, who are circumcised, get dydoes so they can please their women. It is the custom there for the lady to specify the type of jewelry she wishes for her satisfaction. Thus, a man can be asked to put a smooth ball on the end of the dydoe shaft, or perhaps something with an irregular shape to give her different sensations.
My girlfriend and I got very hot reading this, and contemplating it. She told me that my glans ridge was prominent enough to take a dydoe, and suggested that it would be great fun. Her suggestion for circumcision had been right on the money, so I decided to have a dydoe piercing. It would be my first.
We went to the Gauntlet in Manhattan, and saw the professional piercer, who turned out to be a very attractive brunette lady in her twenties. My girlfriend was afraid I would be embarrassed to have my penis altered by a woman, but I wasn't. I had already lost my modesty along with my foreskin; the nurses were very attractive.
I asked if my girlfriend could stay and watch, and that was OK by the piercing lady.
I undressed, and got on to the dentist's chair. She examined me carefully, commenting on the "good job" that had been done on my penis. She was sure that the corona was prominent enough to take the dydoe (just one the first time) easily.
We settled on a 16-gauge piercing, niobium shaft, and barbell top for now.
She proceeded to swab the entire head of my penis with a cotton swab saturated with betadine. My penis got turgid, and I don't know how I avoided having an erection. Then she positioned the canula, placed the needle along the shaft of my penis behind the head, and brought the needle to the back edge of my corona.
My girlfriend encouraged me, telling me not to be afraid. The piercing lady was very supportive. Before starting, she had assured my girlfriend and myself that we would love the result. Also, she said that the piercing would be a piece of cake compared to the circ operation.
So, when she told me to take some deep breaths, I wasn't too nervous. Then, she pushed. I felt a sharp pain, but nothing unbearable, as the needle began to go in. I felt it inside the flesh as it was being pushed through the spongy glans. I was surprised that the pain was not more severe. There was very little blood.
After we got the cleaning and care instructions, we thanked the piercing lady, and went to the waiting room for a while, as she suggested (to be sure of no excessive bleeding). When we were alone for a few minutes, my girlfriend kissed me very passionately, telling me how proud she was of "my brave man," and whispering that she was so dying to try it out that she was soaking wet. I whispered back that she was turned on from watching a man's penis get altered. She tried to deny it, but gave up the denials in a while.
The aftercare was easy and uneventful. We had some antibiotics left over from the flu, and I took them for the first ten days. There was no infection, no inflammation, no problem of any kind. In about a month, I had healed well enough so we could try it out. My girlfriend went wild, and my enjoyment was increased even further.
I can't wait for my girlfriend's next suggestion!
