My apadravya was an extremely awesome experience for me. I started off at a 14ga, but pierced it with a 12 ga needle. The reason I wanted to pierce it a size larger is so the jewelry would easily go in and in the future the stretching process would also be somewhat easier. I have now stretched it to a 0ga and I am quite happy with this size. As you have probably deducted from what I've written thus far I decided to wait to write about it until I reached my desired jewelry size a 0ga. This piercing is by far the most memorable and painful piercing I have ever had the pleasure of getting.

I started by going to the best source of information for body modifications of all sorts bme, then I researched the different types of male genital piercing to find the proper name of the one that I desired. After I found this out I then studied the anatomy of the penis so that I wouldn't damage it when I did the piercing. I learned about the potential danger of penetrating the corpus cavernosum and how I would pretty much have to sit down whenever I had to relieve my self after the piercing. After I had learned about all the risks and discomforts I still wanted the piercing, so I decided to go forward with it. I do not recommend doing this piercing yourself because it is very dangerous.
The place I decided to do my piercing at was my friend Justin's room. After the jewelry arrived we just hung out for the day and waited until night time when everyone was asleep to do it. I insisted upon doing this piercing my self so that I would get the experience in its entirety. My friend did however hold the clamps steady while I used the regular three finger method at first I realized I wasn't applying enough force; so I decided to try the tapping method which is what I ended up using to do it. This method to my surprise worked very well and was very accurate in the overall placement and alignment top to bottom of the needle as well as the jewelry. The procedure of this modification seemed like it lasted an eternity and it did take me quite a while to completely finish the piercing and put the barbell in. I would say roughly 20-25 minutes before completion possibly more. Throughout the piercing my legs were shaking so much that I had to wait a while in between taps; also I was perspiring a lot which added to the difficulty of the piercing and me being able to concentrate on it. My guess as to why I was shaking so much is that the intensity of the pain caused my adrenaline or some other pain numbing chemical in my body to help me cope with the pain and finish. This piercing did bleed a lot more than any of my other modifications did and was much more painful than any of my other modifications. When I finally did finish I was so extremely happy and I felt so relaxed and at peace with everything and everyone.
One really cool thing about this piercing although there are many is the aftercare involved which is so extraordinarily easy. Since it is a transurethral piercing it cleans it self every time you urinate, but I did soak it a few times in sea salt, but this really isn't that necessary. My initial urination after completion and a few days following was a little painful and burned a little bit, but it was well worth whatever pain I endured. I then waited about four and a half months for it to heal and I then ordered a 12ga barbell for it. I continued to stretch all the way to a 6ga without the need for any tapers, however, I did use tapers for my stretches to 4, 2, and 0gauge barbells. I have now had this piercing for about two years and I am quite satisfied at a 0gauge for now. This is a very serious piercing and if you are considering one I recommend you do a lot of research and thinking before you decide. Another thing that I found out about my self is that I do indeed enjoy pain and gain some pleasure from it as well as knowing that I can endure it. My apadravya has not only gave me great pleasure, but has opened my mind even more to modifications that I used to consider absolutely insane and even dumb. Please do not let the pain and discomfort I have described to you detract from the beauty and pleasure that this piercing has brought me and could very well bring you.
