Its kind of funny how I got into piercings. Almost nine years ago, when I was 18, I got my first nipple piercing while under the influence of a pretty girl. I have to admit, it was pretty much on a whim as I had the chance to impress some I liked. It worked and I ended up getting even more done. Over the next few years I ended up having, a set of 10- gauge nipple piercings (now retired), 2 scrotal piercings (14- gauge) and an 8-gauge Prince Albert. Who would have thought? When I first got my Prince Albert I had actually wanted an Apadravyas, however my piercer was unwilling to do it and, at the time, and I was unwilling to go anywhere else. So, I decided to get the Prince Albert piercing as I was then halfway there and could get what I wanted later. Well, after waiting a few years, and a bunch or research, I had decided that I was going to finally get what I wanted. Don't get me wrong it was not like I didn't enjoy the Prince Albert (as I did), but I felt like a change (an upgrade even). This time, the timin g worked out wonderfully as my current girlfriend was away vacationing in Europe for a month, which meant that a bulk of the healing time would be finished by the time that she returned.

Although, I must say I still don't know if I'm more comfortable with having a woman pierce me below the belt or a man (as I had a woman pierce my little man the first time). I think the only thing about the procedure I wasn't too thrilled about having to masturbate in the bathroom so that I can make the marks on the head of my penis. As you may or may not know when the penis is hard the gland in inside the head enlarge and become quite hard as well. This is important as the piercing sits in front it. Therefore, to get an accurate marking (as everyone is built differently) I had to go into the bathroom and rub one out. Generally this is something that I can enjoy, but not today folks. If I were to do it over I would have brought a dirty magazine or something....
Anyways, after that whole experience the piercing itself was no problem. While in the bathroom I also had to apply a cream that numbed the area in question and so I felt nothing when the piercing occurred. Although lying down on a table with your pants around your ankles in front of a guy is an interesting situation to be in. But, Kelly totally made me feel comfortable and the procedure was done before I knew it. After that relatively painless experience I put on my gear, paid (& tipped him well) and I went on my merry way.
But, I have to admit the healing process was a bit of a pain in the ass. Having a fresh piercing catch on my underwear or having an erection while wearing jeans is not exactly enjoyable. However, this wasn't a frequent occurrence and it got better over time. I made an effort to really keep it clean and adhere to the instructions given to me. And because of this there were no infections and only a minimal amount of crusty stuff. After four weeks my girlfriend returned from Europe and wanted to, of course, jump directly into the sack. WORD OF WARNING.... when you are told that you won't be able to have sex for such and such a time, listen! Cause man I didn't and it hurt. Just be patient...I had to wait another few weeks, but it wasn't too long before it was able to take it for a test drive. It has been 4 years since I got this piercing and I still like it to this day. I still have a bit of the drip when I pee, but that's about it. With regular cleaning this piercing is awesome. Oh, and I'm supposed to mention that my girlfriend enjoys the extra stimulation that it provides as well.
For those of you who are considering getting an Apadravya as I once was. Do your research and take a chance. The benefits outweigh the draw back of not having sex for a while. Put it this way, its 2 seconds of pain for a lifetime of enjoyment. Peace.
