I have read a lot of stories regarding the apadravya piercing. But I don't recall any that talked about the experience after the piercing. That is what I am going to do. Unfortunately, I have to start from the beginning. So, here goes.

This is an odd thing for me considering I used to tease friends with pierced ears in the late '80's. My recent therapy indicates that this obsession is possibly due to my obsessive compulsive disorder. About four years ago ('02) I pierced my nipples. My wife was disgusted by this and several nights of arguing over it resulted. However, my obsession with piercings grew stronger. I began researching piercings on the internet. This is how I came about BME. This is when I discovered (and began obsessing) male genital piercings. In '03, while my wife was out of town, I went to Artistic Skin Design for two dydoe piercings. I loved them. Again, my wife was disgusted and several nights of arguing resulted. I can say this; I kept them for a few weeks before subsiding to her wishes and removing them. These experiences seemed to fuel my desire for another genital piercing. I researched (obsessed) more and more. I spent the next three years fantasizing about the apadravya, the ampallang and the prince's wand.
Now the story begins. My wife recently told me she wanted a divorce. After four weeks of denial I received the divorce papers in the mail. The very day I received this I knew what I had to do. I was going to declare my independence by getting the Apadravya (and possibly the ampallang) I had been obsessing over.
I went to Artistic Skin Design and Clint, who did my dydoe piercings in '03 was not working. Danielle told me I could make an appointment with Clint or she could do the piercing. A little uneasy at first, I was determined not to leave without this piercing. Thankfully, they had the jewelry needed. After a brief discussion with Danielle concerning my previous experience with the dydoes and her explaining the procedure, after care and healing process we proceeded to the piercing room.
I was pretty certain that this experience would be nothing after the double dydoes. Was I wrong. The procedure went like this. The first step was to perform the Prince Albert portion of the piercing. Danielle inserted a tube (well lubricated, of course) into the urethra to stop the needle from penetrating any further past the PA. This was a surprise to me because in all the BME testimonials I have read, I hadn't heard of this. This portion of the piercing was a little more painful than I expected, but not as bad as the dydoes. She then removed the stop tube and gave me a couple of minutes to gather my composure. I almost stopped there and stayed with the PA. But the thought of having an erratic urine stream was not appealing to me. I was taking deep breaths and exhaling slowly. Ok. I'm ready (or so I thought). Then she pushed. Oh my God...the pain was excruciating and seemed to last 10 to 15 seconds. I was supposed to continue breathing. I couldn't. I held my breath. I was afraid of moving. I don't think I have ever been this close to fainting. We waited a few minutes before inserting the jewelry. Even this was a bit uncomfortable. I must sound like a wuss. You know what? Yeah, it hurt. But I did it.
Finally, it was done. I sat up and immediately felt aroused when I saw it. It was perfect. I couldn't believe I went through with it. Danielle told me there was very little bleeding compared to what she typically sees. Funny, Clint told me the same thing when I got the dydoes. The piercing did start to bleed a little as I pulled up my shorts. This was quickly subsided with gauze and the aftercare began.
Well, it has almost been a full week. The healing process has begun. But I would be remiss if I didn't tell you how the week has been. The first night was fine. I wrapped the piercing in gauze to help absorb any nighttime bleeding. I then taped a surgical glove over the end of my penis in case the bleeding was to exceed the capacity of the gauze. I felt like a genius the next morning. This actually worked. I spent the entire first day in my office with the door locked and my pants off. I then took a three hour road trip, wrapped penis and all. Because I was in a hotel the second evening I slept nude and unwrapped. I had no problems. The third night I covered my penis again as I did the first night. I must have rolled over or possibly had my hands on my penis in my sleep. When I woke up the next morning, the gauze was saturated and blood had seeped out of the glove and soaked my underwear. The last two nights have been uneventful. As with the first day, I spent most of the week in my office with my pants off (by the way, I work alone).
Well, it has been 6 days since the piercing. I think I will spend one more day "wrapped" before trying it "exposed". However, I might purchase an athletic cup to wear for awhile to keep from rubbing the piercing in my briefs.
I can't wait until the healing is complete and I can put this piercing into action. Oh, I forgot, my wife is leaving me. Well, maybe the 4-6 month healing time will give me a chance to find someone who is willing to accept my piercing fetish. Yes, I said fetish, not obsession.
Oh, and by the way, I don't think I will be seeking the ampallang anytime soon. However, a prince's wand is a definite. And I will be back for nipple piercings in the fall. Danielle and Clint, you are both great. I would recommend you both to anyone.
