Since so many of these experiences are about the initial piercing I will only give a brief detail of that, but its what happened in my life after that with all the pleasant and unpleasant stuff that goes with it.

First I started with a frenum, then a PA (6ga)a month later. The two seemed to be great for sensation but too much and I got tired of sitting down to pee. Not so good in a men's public restroom where men behave like dogs at a fire hydrant rather than human beings. Plus I had heard that many women didn't like a PA, from many women who had sex with them.
The Apadravya (6ga ) piercing was expertly done freehand through my healed 6ga PA and took only 2 seconds for the needle to pass and 5 more seconds to get the jewelry screwed on. White hot pain and I started shaking. Healing took 6 months, but I didn't use it until 18 months after the piercing.
Sex was great but I learned early on that women who take pride in their ability with oral sex are very challenged by this. I have given up trying to receive and I only get it every now and then.
I was able to get lots of custom jewelry which lowered the profile of the piercing, all the jewelry was titanium and top top quality. The m&m ends were the best. After having sex for about 2 months I stretched to 4 ga. I got a non-screw on taper and in 3 days of trying ended up forcing it through. It pinched and was very painful, get a screw on taper! Now forcing the stretch is NOT the way to go. I had nothing worse than some blood, but you need to take it slow.
After a week of healing I was able to get back into having sex again. She loved it and was a woman who had many sex partners and complimented me that it was the best ever. The jewelry really hit the spots right. I was using pleasure plus condoms as suggested with using lubricant before putting on the condom. Now beware that some women will not like what this does, this girl liked it rough and usually was too sore and tender for 3 days afterward to have sex again.
After 4 months at 4 ga I stretched it to the 2ga... this was very intense and was much more painful than the 4ga. Once again I got some custom jewelry and this time I got a screw on taper and an o-ring. I had a bottle of grapeseed oil and I spent 4 weeks spending a few hours each night slowly working the taper in, moving up the o-ring and waiting for a few hours. This became standard procedure. Lots of nights where I pushed too hard and got a little blood, sore and painful for hours or days after that. Then I'd wait 3-4 days for that to heal before trying again.
Well after 4 months I went to 2 ga. Used a threaded taper again. This one was just insane and took 6 weeks rinse and repeat of stretch, o-ring wait, more. Then I would put my old jewelry back in and wait a day or 2. When this stretch was "my very last" ... It is now March 2006. Back in December of 2005 I had a total of 6 different women I slept with since the piercing healed. Some mentioned that they didn't feel it. One girlfriend had sex with me 2 times before she noticed I had it and said, " I was wondering why that felt different" Had several pleasure plus condoms break, maybe 10-15. You have to keep extra lubrication handy in case she dries up a bit or that condom WILL break. I switched to either trojan Magnums or lifestyles, neither has broken.
ok final stretch began in Mid January 2006 from 2ga to 0ga. I has the 2ga long enough for the bottom hole to stretch enough for me to need to sit again while urinating. Many times I was at work or in public and got it on my shoes or my pants, its embarrassing. There's a technique you will need to learn to make sure you are all done and don't leak some 10 minutes after being done and get a wet spot. Know this, this is quite a commitment, there are some irritating side effects which may turn some of you off on the idea of getting this piercing, I don't regret it at all.
You will eventually stretch enough to need to stretch to the next gauge or take out your jewelry for a little while so it closes some. After you have been at one size for 18 months or so the hole doesn't close up as fast so no worries. But you will know when its time.
The final stretch, and I mean final was the very longest. It took a total of 8 weeks. I had to order some 7mm jewelry from Australia to put in the hole instead of putting the 2ga back in, that really helped. I would have ordered the 8mm but its so close to 0ga that by the time you get that stretched, its just a couple more days till you are there. The whole time I used the screw on taper, o-ring and grapeseed oil. I also used a warm moist heating pad to warm everything up before starting. Don't force it EVER. That's the lesson I learned through all this. You think you will be able to do it in one night, you can't and if you do its going to mess your hole up.
Ok as the hole got larger and larger, I noticed that there was an ever increasing smell, not good at all for oral sex and as another poster mentioned, just a huge turn off. this is after only a day or 2 between cleanings and sometimes depending on your body the same day.
If you can smell something, clean it. I clean my jewelry a minimum of once a day and when I am dating twice a day. Trust me, after the hole has gotten used to the jewelry its not hard to take it out and clean and put back in. Be sure to lubricate with the hole with a good massage oil and work the jewelry back and forth to "flush out" any dead cells from the tunnel. Jojoba also is a great but expensive oil, not the same viscosity as grapeseed or almond oil but a lifetime shelf life.
I read about neo-sporin in another post, the petroleum jelly can harbor bacteria and yeast so I will counter that suggestion and say do not use neo-sporin.
My super secret trick for keeping everything clean is high quality Lavender oil. Do not use anything labeled, not for internal use. There are a couple well known online retailers who sell pure clean lavender oil which you can use to clean the piercing and to keep down the growth of bacteria and yeast. I use some on a paper towel and put some in the jewelry. Lavender oil (not lavendum) is an antiseptic and is not so harsh that it will burn. If it does burn a little, dilute with pure almond oil or grapeseed oil ( massage oils). Once again you can't get cheap with this or the cheap stuff you buy will hurt you. You need to be paying $20-30 a bottle of organic pure before its going to help.
With both the 2 ga stretch and 0 ga stretch there was this internal shedding of the hole sort of like a snake's skin. Once that shed, it reduced the pressure quite a lot. I ordered half balls for the ends so they won't be too much in the way during sex. Haven't tried the 0 ga yet.
