Ever since I got my first piercing five years ago at the age of 18, I have been very interested in genital piercings. However it was something I was always afraid to do. The idea of a needle passing through my penis scared me like nothing else. That was up until about two months ago. I decided it was finally time for me to try it. I began researching the subject thoroughly. I found BME to be a wonderful research tool. I read experiences and looked at pictures of all the different possibilities for piercings. After much research i decided that the one I wanted was the apadravya. I thought it had the most appealing look of all the piercings I had seen.

After I had decided what I wanted I went to Dead Rockstar and talked to Chuck about it. We decided that he would pierce it at a ten gauge. He said that he didn't have anything long enough in a ten gauge in stock so he would have to order something. He told me to stop back in in about a week to a week and a half and that he should have it by then. That time came and of course I was broke. I went in and talked to him and said that I would come in the next Friday after I got paid. He said that would work great for him.

This gave me a week to seriously consider what I was about to do to myself. By the time Friday came around I had almost talked myself out of it. I managed to drag myself into the shop and talked to Chuck. He said he had one piercing to do and that after that he would be ready. This gave me a little more time to try and talk myself out of it but I was unsuccessful. About twenty minutes later he came out and said he was ready for me. I have never been so nervous in my life as I was at that moment.

I went back into the room and had a seat on the chair. He had me drop my pants and proceeded to clean the area. After that he told me that he wouldn't pierce through the frenum and explained why, after all of my research I was already aware of this though. He asked if I had a preference as to which side it went to. I said I didn't so he picked the right side. He then marked me for placement and gave me one more option. He said that he could either do it freehand or use a clamp. The clamp he said would make it a much quicker experience. We decided that he should use the clamp. I wasn't looking forward to the pain so I didn't want it to last to long. He told me the clamps might sort of hurt but when he put them on I hardly felt them. That didn't disappoint me to much though. He then told me to take deep breaths in and out to relax. He knows me well enough to know that I don't like a countdown or any sort of warning before my piercings. I like him to just do it. So he told me he would just go ahead and do it when he thought I was ready. I was ready before he did it but when the needle went through it was the worst pain I've ever felt from a piercing. It was over very quickly though. He put the jewelry through and cleaned up the little bit of blood there was. I was slightly woozy so he gave me some water to drink while he bandaged it up. He was surprised how little blood there was right away but warned me that there would be blood off and on for a little while. He wasn't kidding. When I got home no more than twenty minutes after the piercing I noticed a little spot on the front of my pants. Blood had soaked through the bandages and all the way to my pants. I cleaned it all up and put another bandage on it. That was the majority of the blood. It bled a little off and on for the first day and its now two days later and I haven't seen anymore blood since last night.

So far for aftercare I have been soaking it in sea salt and just washing it in the shower. I haven't had any problems yet. However it has only been two days since I got it done. So far I love it. I'm glad I didn't chicken out. In my opinion it was a painful experience but the pain is only temporary and not bad enough to make it not worth it. My suggestion to anyone considering this is to do your research so you know what you are getting yourself into.
