This story actually happened about six months ago. I've been wearing my PA for about eight years and couldn't imagine being without that piece of jewellery. I guess I haven't been without it longer than a couple of hours. But I've been thinking about having an Apadravya done for quite some time. Then, I've been staying in California for a couple of weeks and I decided that it was the perfect moment to have such a thing done. My Apa now actually serves as a souvenir.

We decided to pierce it at 8 g and stretch it a little bit when it's healed. As I've been wearing a 00 g ring, I thought it would probably be better to take that piece out and let the hole close a bit for some time. It would have been quite strange having a huge ball on a 8 g barbell so that it stays outside the hole.
There's one thing I have to admit, I'm a big whimp when it comes to pain, even though I've been playing hockey for so long. Guess that's kinda different. So you can imagine I wasn't really looking forward to having the procedure done, but hey, I knew I would love the result, so I knew I had to go through that and having a huge needle stuck through my glans.
And then, It was the big day and I was a bit early for my appointment. So I took the opportunity and looked through the binders with tattoo pictures, art done by the tattoo artist working in the same studio. Then, I was called and after some short proceeding through the paperwork, I was guided to the room where the piercing was about to happen. I took out my pants and shorts and sat on that type of bed I was supposed to rest while the piercer was treating my member. He marked the top hole and I approved it immediately. Exactly the spot where it had to be. Then, he took the needle out of its sterile wrapping and I've been so happy I didn't decide on a 6 g piercing. Man, that needle was huge...
The piercer had all his things ready and clamped the area that was about to be pierced. It was a strange feeling and an even stranger look to see my glans being so squeezed. Then, I was asked if I was ready. And then came this terrible pain. It was really bad, but I've been so happy that it only lasted for a second or so. I looked down and saw that huge needle going all the way through the glans. Man, that looked nice... Inserting the barbell didn't hurt much and I've been very much surprised that it didn't bleed. There were about two tiny drops of blood when he changed the needle for the barbell, but otherwise...no blood at all. The piercer did put the barbell in place and I've been fascinated by the look. Wonderful, exactly how I had imagined it. He wrapped it in sterile gaze and put a condom over all that stuff.
I've been happy that I did decide to wear some pretty baggy pants and boxershorts. Walking was kind of strange but it was okay. Good thing that I didn't have to take the bus or train back home. I really enjoyed driving home by car. I went home and had dinner and went to my bed, watching tv before sleeping. The next morning, I woke up due to heavy pain. I've been pretty worried at first, but it wasn't bad at all. I've just been hard, something the freshly pierced Apadravya didn't like at all. After it's been flaccid again, I went to the bathroom and removed the condom and all the gaze. Surprisingly, there wasn't a single drop of blood, only some crusties right beneath the balls of my barbell. I didn't think it wouldn't bleed at all. I cleaned the piercing with some warm water and took a piss...nice thing to do, relieving and cleaning the piercing in one go.
The healing wasn't too bad. It hurt sometimes, but it was totally bearable. I couldn't wait to use my new piercing. When the big day came (jacking off did feel pretty nice), my partner and I both thought it was awesome with the new piercing. Pretty different from that big ass PA ring, but totally worth it. I especially like the look of my Apa, same thing about difference from the PA here too.
Like I had planned, I've been stretching that thing a bit. The pain of stretching an Apadravya is as intense as the initial piercing, wow... I didn't think so before having it done for the first time... but hey, I had a 6 g barbell through my glans after that. Not too bad for the pain. I'm about to stretch a bit more, but this time using some Teflon tape. It's definitely better when it comes to the pain factor.
To that day, I've had some beading done on my shaft as well as a subincision...but the Apadravya is definitely the best...
