It all started when I was talking to my ex-girlfriend about piercings. I told her I had thought about getting another one, but wasn't sure what. I told her I thought it might be fun to do a genital piercing. She told me she didn't think it to be a good idea, because she thought it could make a person lose sensation over time. I didn't like her answer and lack of faith, so I decided to do just the opposite of what she suggested, and to get one.

I figured that having a CBR or curved barbell on top of the penis would be more stimulating to a sexual partner, due to the fact that the G-Spot and clitoris are on the top side. However after calling Spider Bite, I decided to go with an apadravya. He told me he would have had to put a receiving tube in my urethra if I wanted an apadravya, and I didn't think that to be too much fun. So I decided to suck it up and go with the Ap.
So D-Day came. It was bad enough I had really decided to go through with it in the first place, it was even worse that I had to drive 1 ½ hours to get there. That just worked me up even more. I'm from Maine by the way, but genital piercings are illegal in Maine. So anyway, here we are driving down to New Hampshire, and we get lost. Great, more time to syke me up. Just what I need. So the trip ended up taking an extra hour.
So finally we arrived at Spider Bite, and I'm terrified. I mean, I'm about to have a needle shoved through my penis. That's a horrible thought. So I go in and tell them what I want, sign the paper work and all that good stuff, then get ready to talk to the piercist. He shows me the jewelry, tells me he's gonna sterilize it and it's gonna be about 15 minutes. Why does this have to keep getting delayed?
Finally he comes out and tells me he's ready. *Gulp*. My best friend armed with a video camera, my co-workers fiancee, and I all go into the piercing room and close the door. He tells me to drop my pants sit on the chair, and relax. Yeah, easier said than done. At this point my heart is already pounding. Oh and might I add this is my first hollow needle piercing. Anyway, he put the clamp on, and just that sucked enough. It was like a really crappy pinching feeling, but it's worth it. Then he marks me up with the toothpick, grabs the needle, and tells me to take a deep breath in. Knowing that he's gonna pierce after the inhale, I exhale all the way out. Kind of annoyed, he tells me to breath IN. Here goes nothing, *deep breath in*, Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst, most horrendous pain I have EVER experienced. About 2 seconds later though, it was gone. How easy was this? I sit up, no blood, but and incredible rush from the endorphins and adrenaline.
I walked out of the piercing room to find everyone in the shop looking in my direction. I must have screamed pretty loud. A couple of the girls asked me what I did, I told them, and they insisted I let them see. Why not right? Why deprive someone of seeing a freshly pierced cock? So I showed everyone, all thinking it was bad ass, paid for the piercing, got directions home, and left with the biggest smile on my face.
Being from Maine, not a whole lot of people know what to think about these kind of piercings. All anyone does for piercings up here are tongue, nipples, belly buttons, and facial stuff. So everyone I have showed so far has definitely not known what to think. I attempted being a bad ass and trying to have sex within the first 2 weeks, but that was definitely a failed attempt. Head was given, which was awesome, but when I tried to enter, the pain was too unbearable. Since then I have left it alone, and only cleaned and nurtured it with pierced ear solution, satin, and sea salt soaks. The swelling is gone and I'm going to be downsizing the barbell.
It has been three weeks to the day, and I LOVE my apadravya. The first week sucked, the pain felt like razors, and the blood was too much, but it was worth it. The pain has subsided, and all that's left is a little lymph I have to clean off once every 4-5 hours. Overall an awesome experience. Oh and I also have a couple girls wanting to "test drive" it when it heals. Definitely a recommended piercing.
