Firstly,

Apologies if this is overlong but I think it covers some stuff that isn't mentioned in other apadravya experiances.

Secondly:

This is sort of an update to the PA experiance that I sent into bmezine.com

Basically in August 2002 I got an PA done, the original intent was to have an apadravya but the piercer thought that I was too inexperianced to go for the apadravya (the only other piercing I had was a gunned earlobe from 18 years before), then to be converted to an apadravya at a later date.

Anyway the PA was totally non eventful in itself no pain, bleeding or anything else.

It was stretched to 3.2 mm but with great difficulty, more on that later

Anyways it was time to continue with the apadravya. I was a little concerned when the piercer then said that an apadravya may be out of the question, as the PA & RPA may not align. He also appeared to be unable to obtain suitable jewellery, after a while I grew tired of this and went to see Donal in Belfast Skinworks, who had been very highly reccomended to me by several people including another (female) piercer.

I made an appointment with Donal and explained what I wanted and what stage my PA was at, as I had some concerns.

So into the piercing room I went and dropped the appropiate items of clothing and had my PA examined and indeed there was a problem, apart from what looked like a game of hunt the shrinking penis.

1:

The PA went through my frenum, hence a small white raised ring of tissue and the difficulty of stretching.

2:

The PA was at the wrong angle to complete the apadravya as it would totally miss the tissue above the urethra.

Donal explained that if the PA wasn't giving me any trouble I could keep it but not to stretch any more, "as you wouldn't wish your banjo string to snap while you are on the job." Well to me the purpose of the PA was to facilitate an apadravya, so the decision was made to abandon the existing PA and get an apadravya when the PA had closed up.

Well after a couple of days there was only a tiny bump of raised skin, and after two weeks it was invisible, however I was still in mourning for my lost PA, it was like losing a family member.

Visit Two

I signed the appropiate forms and was examined, however things wern't going to be straight foreward.

1:

I had a pronounced frenum, which Donal reconed may have accounted for my PA having been through it (it snapped back into place just as I was pierced perhaps), but that could be worked with, and I was very suitable for a frenum piercing if I ever wanted one.

2:

I had a very open/large urethra (nope I ain't ever tried sounding), so the angle of the piercing may require even more thought than normal.

3:

I had a deep crease leading down to the opening of my urethra, therefore causing the tissue to be pretty thin compared with most other people, hmm migration problems.

Oh right typical I thought to myself. After a bit of discussion we decided to get a suitable PA in place (ie pointing in the right direction and not through the frenum).

I had already been numbed for the apadravya so I felt absolutely nothing nothing except for a bit of pushing and pulling. I was very happy to see the return of a PA to my appendage. Anyway I was told to come back in a couple of weeks to get checked out for the piercing I really desired

The healing was unremarkable, a bit of spotting the following morning, and my piss was pink on two occasions, literally no discomfort at all.

Christmas passed and my wife who I am currently separated from found out about my piercings, and was most surprised about the PA, and more surprised that about the piercing I really wanted. She also couldn't resist checking it out :)

Visit Three.

Two weeks into 2003 I made an appointment for the sixteenth (payday), and arrived to Skinworks at 13:00, signed the forms and agreed an reduced price for completion.

After a little poking and prodding with an insertion pin, Donal decided that not only was the PA at the correct angle, but he would be passing through a reasionable piece of tissue. However he would be using a PTFE bar, as he thought there may be a greater than normal chance of migration due to the crease.

So I was numbed up (xylocaine on a QTip), and when he showed me the needle I said "oh I'm sorry I looked", to which I received the reply "well you would have liked the PA needle even less". At this point I decided that the ceiling was probably a better thing to look at. I tensed up, a couple of times and was told "don't worry I will tell you when I'm gonna pierce".

After what seemed like several minutes (it may have been 20 seconds for all I know), I felt a strange discomfort (not normal pain) which got stronger and I realised what was happening, and I said somthing like "ow", and thought "oh you bastard you never said". Anyway the discomfort passed after a couple of seconds and I was told that's it, you can look now.

To be honest I don't know what I thought, I was looking down at my member with blood running from under a ball at the top of my nob which was not totally unexpected.

However the blood running from out of my urethra was a different matter, it was strange, not gross or scary, just very strange to see. The best description I can give is a sort of an out of body experience.

Anyway I liked it (cept for the blood), I got cleaned up and Donal explained to keep the ball at the top close to the surface of my piercing and allow the extra length of the bar to protrude from the PA hole. Then my foreskin was moved foreward (carefully) and the PTFE bar bent foreward without any extra guidance. I was wrapped in paper, then a glove was attached (to keep all the juicy goodness in). Donal then told me that that if there was any movement at all in the fresh piercing at all then to get in contact immeditely. He then said to go home and relax. But I couldnt so I had some lunch then back to work :(

A couple of hours later (in work) I had a piss it was pink and had a respectable sized blood clot in it. That night I gave it a salt soak, and got a little bleeding afterwards but all was fine, cept for another pink tinged piss.

The next morning I had a little spotting in the dressing, but that's all the bleeding that I have had.

I have to say that the apadravya is very different from the PA in it's effect, when I walk I do feel the rubbing transferred into my glans and although I'm still a bit tender, it's a pretty pleasureable feeling. Whereas with the PA it made no appreciable difference to everyday actions.

Two Weeks Later

Ok whats to say, the amadrvya is healing nicely with only a small bit of swelling on the top of my glans. There has been no bleeding and only minor discomfort mainly due to me forgetting about it and leaping into the car.

Even under my foreskin the movement generated while walking is pretty damned pleasureable and I think that a metal bar will increase that considerably.

Due to the length of the bar and it being PTFE I have not attempted any pleasuring of myself or indeed anybody else.

After being checked out (today) for any problems with the piercing Donal said to come back in two weeks to get some metal into the piercing, which will only be a couple of mm shorter than the PTFE.

So far a worthwhile investment :)

3 Months

Well the metal went in and no appreciable differenece was noticed, though my first erection with metal in was interesting as I could feel the balls at either end of the BB. I was worried for a while that the BB was too short, but things where fine, just a very slight pressure.

The only problem that I have had is a indentation at the upper exit hole, which is caused by the bar lying back (towards the rest of my body) when my foreskin is in it's normal position. This didn't occur with the PTFE inplace. Fortunitly there has been no migration of either hole (I have been measuring carefully), and a slightly thicker BB may also reduce the indentation by having a larger surface area to distribute the pressure.

One irritation which is never metioned with the apadravya is the fact that the lower ball can work itself under the frenum, causing the upper ball to sit very high, if you don't notice then it is not pleasant when you pull your foreskin back, this may also be deeply unfunny during sex.

Unfortunitely I havn't had a chance to roadtest the apadravya, though the reactions could be interesting as my 6 mm lobe (yes that small) and inner conch orbital has caused many comments to be made (these people really should get out more).

Anyway like so many others I probably don't really know when to stop, and am now contemplating an ampallang, when I have another milestone to mark.

The strange thing is that none of this is for sexual purposes (though any future partners will have to accept them), they're entirely about marking the changes in my life and control over myself, but hopefully they will serve a useful sexual purpose when they are called upon.

Anyway this has ended up pretty damn long.
