So I've always been into Body mods for as long as I can remember but unfortunately coming from a small town even a tattoo was a little punkish, let alone a boy with BOTH ears pierced, heaven forbid and that's why I moved to the city.

I can remember reading an article on body piercing in a magazine and after was absolutely in love with the idea of a PA but unfortunately being only sixteen at the time this wasn't going to happen any time soon and strangely enough I can even remember talking to Rick Gilmour( my current piercer) on the phone 5 years before I actually had it done. So to keep things under wraps I started with my PA (later stretched to 4 ga) followed by my nipples, scrotal ladder(3)and now my apadravya. Yeah.

Okay, so doing it yourself isn't necessarily recommended but it was a primal urge sort of thing that had to be done or else I would have chickened out and never been the wiser. Having a few of the necessary supplies around the house I decided to wash up and go for it. I boiled everything and sterilized my "little friend" with alcohol swabs inside and out. I knew I had to take out my PA (CBR) too and wow was that ever a feat of strength in itself having never done it since it was put in by Rick at Adorned. I even felt a little naked once it was out. It's funny how these things become part of you.

Next was the positioning and I decided the easiest way to get the needle through the dense tissue of the glans was to come at it from the PA hole and through the top( better leverage), then that way there was nothing to hit as opposed to if I had come the other way and missed the PA hole altogether.

Okay here goes deep breath, slowly I put the needle through the PA hole and I can feel kind of a sharp scratching as I try to get a good sense of where the needle would exit so that it's centered when it comes out and not too far back where I would be going through the erection tissue (for lack of the latin name, sorry).

And push, slowly but firmly. Wow, I can actually feel the needle going through the different layers of tissue and you know it hurt but not near as bad as I thought (it always gets built up in your mind to be more painful than it actually is). Then its over and I now have a really sharp needle sticking through the head of my dick! Even the alignment turned out great and very centered. I can hardly believe I actually just did that. Thank god cause I didn't really want to do it again.

And now the bloody part of the story. Okay, so I figure I'll quickly pull out the needle and slide in the barbel. 1...2...3..pull. Well certainly you'd never imagine a geyser of blood shooting out the top of your dick.Uh oh, I wasn't really in a panic but knew that that probably wasn't a good idea. After trying to slow the bleeding with gauze and to no avail I pop the barbel in the top and it stops instantly, whew. Just rinse off and on to the next part.

Finally getting the ball on the end. So I had decided to put in a short barbell and just have it fit inside my urethra and not out the bottom with my PA. The reasoning was to have less metal sticking out the bottom and stretching my PA any bigger or having leaks when peeing and also aesthetics. Vanity eh? So the barbell went through the top no problem but the inside tissue was really tough to get into the urethra so I had to apply a lot of pressure for quite a while and with a bit of screwing action hoping the threads would help to pull it through.

Once though and a bit of compression on my head then I could see the thread sticking out the PA hole and I was home free. Tighten on the ball, release the compression and poof the ball disappeared into the PA hole never to be seen again.

I put back in my CBR and everything looked fantastic. It hasn't bled even a drop after and the discomfort has been barely anything other then a bit of aching if I happen to get morning wood but even that has gotten less over the week so far. I soak it once a day with saline to be sure but there hasn't been a crusty or even bruising. You'd almost think it was healed but we'll give it a few months to be sure.

All in all, not a bad experience but go to a professional cause it's way less hassle.

P.S. What will the townsfolk think when I visit with not only my ears pierced but stretched too.
