Well, this is the story of my penis a piercing and me. One of the most influential images I have in my mind is that of a bmxer showing the camera his apadravya and frenum ladder on some late night/ early mourning extreme sports film. For me the idea of a genital piercing is really amazing, and was the ultimate because it's your dick. That is what makes it so special to me. I'm only 18, turned in February and knew a long time before that I wanted a genital piercing, and to begin with it was p.a. all the way. But then in sneaked the image of the apadravya. That combined with the fact that a p.a. exits through your eye, no way. After doing a bit of reading on good old bme I decided it was definitely for me.

Not only does he have shit lots of experience he's also a really sound chap who loves peircings, (and he has half his face tattooed). Although the only work he had done on my was stretching my labret from 5mm to 7mm I knew he was the man. He has had an apadravya himself and had done several.
I phoned up before going in to ask him a few questions. As I was not 18 and had no genital peircings at the time he seem sceptical. I make an appointment to come and get measured up. When he saw me he was relived it was me (he had thought it was someone with no experience with peircings who wanted it and did not know what the they where letting themselves in for.) He left me to measure myself and afterwards gave him the info. He said give him a few days to get the jewellery, and ring before to make sure it was all cool.
I went back a week on Wednesday. It may seem stupid but I got stoned before going in. I smoke quite a bit anyway and felt comfortable getting pierced stoned, Steve said it was cool. People might say this is wrong, but it helped me feel more relaxed. However I would in no way encourage any one to smoke before being modded, but if you do make sure the piercer is OK with it before hand. If he had said no, then I would have been sober.
My good friend Adam came with me with a video camera to record it happen. We arrived at the studio about 4.50pm and I was to be his last piercing of the day. Steve showed me the jewellery and then gave me a tube of emla cream. I went downstairs to the toilet and applied my first lot and then wrapped me little fella in warm moist toilet paper. While we waited we smoked a couple more joints and relaxed and chatted with Steve.
20 mins later and down again to apply the next lot. About 15 mins later and the emla and bud have taken affect and my penis was numb, completely dead. By this time I'm really nervous and beginning to question the whole idea.
Off to the studio and the chair. I sit down and my friend gets out the camera and turns it on. On goes a bit of soulfly (wicked band) and I'm marked up. I am being pierced with a 2mm bar.
I decide I don't want to see the needle go through so I lie back and wait.
The needle just went straight through, I did not feel a thing (god I love emla) I still scream like a little girl, but that's from the shock. Just as I'm calming down telling myself its all over Steve says right back through we go. Before I can stop myself I shout out why, Steve just looked at me chuckled and said the jewellery had to go through. And then it's in with the jewellery and I'm done. I can't believe it did not hurt at all. As the shops closed we stayed and had a couple more spliffs with him (he did not smoke before the piercing) and a chat. On the way home it did not hurt and I felt really good bout it all.
It's now bout 4 weeks one and everything's fine. I felt no pain that night when I took my first piss and only suffered from about 30secs of bleeding bout 3 days later and only one painful erection. It's healing quite nicely now and seems to be settling nicely. I have been soaking twice daily in warm salt water, which is working a treat.
I love my apadravya and plan on strutting it to between 5 and 7mm once its healed. Loads of people I know have seen it and think its cool. A couple of mates have seen the video and it is being but on a film we are making showing crazy shit we have done. In my experience it was not that bad a piercing to get, although pain is subjective and I used emla, however if you want this piercing and are sure then I would say go for it.
