I'm not sure how I should start this, but here is goes. I've had a couple of piercings in my life. The usual, tongue piercings and lobes and cartilage and things of that nature. As for genital piercing they have been relatively painless, but that all changed.

I've had two scrotal piercing and a Prince Albert, so I decided to get an Apadravya done. I thought, "Ya know, what I gotten so far hasn't been that bad, why not get something fewer people have." I talked with Mickey about what kind of jewelry and the length we would need. It would take approximately a week for it to come in and for me to have time off to get it done.

The week's wait was a tad nerve wracking. I stopped by once to make sure the barbell had made it in, and it had. I talked to one of the other piercers there, Mike. He has an Apadravya and has since stretched it to a 4 gauge. I asked him if it hurt and all he would talk about was how bad the stretching hurt. I should have gotten the point.

Saturday rolled around and I went to the shop. When I go there, there weren't very many people. And Mickey asked me if I was ready. I said yes and started the wait of the jewelry going through the autoclave. Raymond, an apprentice at the studio, helped me pass the time by letting me know how much longer I had till it was done sterilizing. During that time Mickey and I finalized the plan on how we were going to go through with the piercing. Since I already had an 8 gauge PA, we were just going to take that out and use the existing hole to start the Apadravya. This meant no forceps and that we would use a receiving tube either through the hole for the PA or on the top of the Glans.

When the sterilization was done, I walked into the back booth and got marked off on exactly were we were going to do this. From there I laid down in the chair and we got positioned to go through with the procedure.

It only too a little while to figure out that we were not going to be able to get the receiving tube into the hole for the PA or start it down my urethra and still have a straight piercing. So, I realized that it was going to have to go on the top when Mickey starts the needle through the existing hole for my PA.

This is were things start to take longer then they should. I told me to take a breath and let it out. I did this one or two more times and then I felt the needle start to cut through the flesh at the head of my penis. This is unlike an experience I have ever had in my life. The only thing I can compare it to is getting the piercing preacher stuck in my zipper. So I let out a yell that startled the people in the waiting area.

The pain was still there and I could tell that the needle was no longer moving. The first words I could think of were, "Mutherf*&%er, that hurt!" I was a tad disturbed when Mickey's only reply was, "Take a deep breath!"

"What?!?!?!?"

He told me to take a deep breath and I did but the only thing I could think of was that this was going to hurt even more. So after a couple of deep breaths, I could feel the needle pushing through the flesh, again. I yelled for a second time, because the pain was just as much as the start.

For some reason when he started to push the needle past the initial point, the pressure caused the receiving tube to roll and he had to re-set the receiving tube. Hence the needing a second to get it all the way through.

>From there things got easier to bear. I could feel every fraction of an inch while he pushed the barbell through. I took about 10 minutes before I stood up. Mickey and I and some of the other employees joked around for a little bit. I could hear the people in the waiting area ask what happened and what I got. Mickey was proud of himself and said, "After everything that you've gotten done, I finally made you yell."

He took a couple of pictures and I let a couple of people see it. But after that it was basically pretty smooth sailing. I did have a problem with nighttime erections on the first night because the scab would stick to my boxers and cause very quick alarm clock type of pain. Since then the only problem I've had has been at night. My piercing sits at an angle, so at night, if I stick out of my boxers and I just try to re-adjust them, it's like yanking on both ends of the piercing at the same time. I guarantee that will wake you up in the morning.

And that is my short experience of getting an 8 gauge Apadravya.
