I'm far from being new to piercing but was still excited and nervous about a genital piercing. I started in January of 2000 by getting my tongue pierced the first time. I said that I just wanted the one piercing and wouldn't get anymore. However, as most of you probably agree, piercings and tattoos are HIGHLY addictive. About four months later I couldn't stand it anymore and got my tongue pierced a second time. I decided I wanted a more noticeable piercing to kind of set me out from everyone else.

I still kept thinking of a genital piercing and looking at pictures and experiences here on BME. The biggest thing stopping me from getting the piercing done is the piercer is my best friend and it is hard to imagine standing there with the family jewels in his hand.
I finally got the nerve up and went down to get a PA. When I got there we were talking and I told him I would later turn it into an apadravya at which point he told me I should just go ahead and get the apadravya that way it would all be over at once. I thought about it for a second and love the way it looks anyway so said yes. The shop was getting pretty busy so my girlfriend and I played pool for a little while, which I'm thankful for because it helped me relax even more. After it had cleared out a little bit, I went to the piercing booth to get the camera ready. I figured if I was going to let my best friend put a needle though my genitals, I wanted it on video tape. Robbie, the piercer at Epidermal Graffiti, told me that I would be the first Apadravya he had performed but I was confident in him since he has done several Prince Albert and I knew a guy who got one and he didn't have any problems. After he did his measurements, he found that he didn't have a long enough barbell. He called a couple of the shops around his and found the size we needed but not the gauge I wanted. I finally decided I was too excited to wait and would stretch to a 12 gauge as fast as he could order me one. I got a 14 gauge 1 1/4 inch barbell.
We sent my girlfriend over to the other shop to pick up the jewelry When she arrived we went back to the piercing room and he had me lean back in the chair. He explained where exactly it would be placed and cleaned the area and told me to take a deep breath, count to 3, and exhale. When he started pushing the needle through I realized it didn't hurt like I was afraid. When he started to go through the other side of the urethra is when it started to hurt a little. After he got the jewelry in I looked down and loved it instantly. There was a few drops of blood which he cleaned up and told me how to take care of. It took about a week to a week and a half before it wasn't sore. I had said that it would be the only genital piercing I ever got. Much like the first time I got my tongue done it just doesn't quench the desire for long. It was two weeks later that I went to the shop to pick up some other jewelry and I had him go ahead and do my nipples. I've got them 14 gauge right now and already bought a 12 gauge and 10 gauge jewelry to stretch them. I have several other mods planned but the one I am most excited about I think is I want to find somewhere I can get my web cut. I figure it will make my tongue stick out about one and a half or two inches further so I can get more piercings. And between a three inch pierced tongue and pierced genitals, my sex life is going to become ever more interesting. :) I started looking at pictures of a frenum ladder with him and hope to get one soon. but can't decide on it or an ampallang. When people ask how I can stand to get the piercings I do and if it hurts. I tell them that when you convince yourself that pain doesn't hurt... you can do anything! They give you some really strange looks but I have come to enjoy them to a point. One thing I love is the fact that at 24 years old... I own my own business building and programming computers but most people take one look at my clothes and piercings and outlook on life in general and it is totally distorted from the truth. The fun comes when they get to know me and find out how wrong they were.
