I probably owe this whole deal to an ex-girlfriend who first put the serious notion of a gential piercing, the apadravya especially, into my head I hadn't really considered it, but her mention of it made me look into it, and the more I saw pictures and read experiences, the more I made up my mind that someday I'd do that. It was at the bottom of my list, though, there were a lot of other piercings I wanted, and I ended up getting most of them. I was running out of options.
At A Glance Author Jay_buckle Contact Jay_buckle@bme.anon Artist Jimmy Studio Atlantis Body Arts Location Milford, CT Fast forward a few months and I had almost forgotten about what I wanted to do, until another lady friend brought up the mention of frenum's and ladders...and the whole genital piercing idea bit me again...however I had to choose now, both seemed like decent options. I personally was leaning towards the apadravya again, though. I liked the look, I liked the supposed functionality of it, and I just liked the idea that if I could go through with this, I could do anything. There's not a lot more for me to do beyond the point of getting a very sharp needle pushed through my wang anyways. This was going to be the big test of my will power, if I could willingly let someone do that to me.
I'm impatient, I had planned on waiting a little longer, but immediately headed out to my piercing studio, Atlantis Body Arts, once I had decided I was going with an apadravya. I found Jimmy outside smoking and we discussed it. Turns out he had just done his own a few days ago and had a lot of advice to offer me about it, and ran through the basics of procedure and aftercare with me just to make sure I knew what I was getting into. I initially wanted to get pierced at 8g, and he said he could probably do that, but he'd have to order a barbell. In order to get the right length he gave me a pair of calipers and sent me to the bathroom to get the little guy at full size for the proper measurement of length for the barbell. After we were set with that I left a deposit and waited.
The week came and went, however, I soon heard from Jimmy that an 8g, 1 and 1/4" barbell wasn't in stock at his normal suppliers and it'd have to be custom made. If I wanted, though, he could get a 10g right away at that length and do it just a few days later. I agreed, the 10g would be sufficient, I could always stretch later if I wanted. It only took 3 days before he called saying he was set to go. This was it, do or die time.
I went and the studio was clean and he was set up already knowing I was on the way. I've praised Atlantis and Jimmy before, but I really can't say enough about him, he made sure he opened everything in front of me and ran down every detail of the procedure while I filled out the neccessary papers. Soon after, I dropped my drawers, hopped onto the chair and laid back while he marked me and put a sorta makeshift bib over my pecker. The usual deepbreath then a pinch he said, and that's exactly what it was. Just a pinch, mildly uncomfortable, but I didn't think it really hurt. Halfway there he said and began his push through to the top which took a little longer. All in all it was a few seconds worth of pushing and a couple deep breaths. The skin there was the toughest he'd seen in a while he said, but he got it done, and the jewelry going through after was a breeze. I was, however, as expected, bleeding a lot. Normal, though, and he kept cleaning it until it went down a little and wrapped me up in some paper towels and a rubberband and left so I could put my pants on and we could take care of the money end of the deal. I paid, tipped, and talked to a few of the guys at the shop before I left.
Its two days later now, and the bleeding has been minimal, the discomfort almost non-existant. The first pee I took felt a little stingy, but not too bad, and I've kept it clean while in the shower a few times a day and it's been healing nicely.
This was the ultimate test of what I could do, and I passed with flying colors. A lot of my friends think I'm kidding when I say I got this done, but know me well enough to know that I'm not without having to show them. I'm really eager to eventually find out how it holds up in the performance end of things, but I can wait, I don't want to rush things before it heals well enough. Once again a great job by Jimmy, and I know I'll be going back to see him about a surface piercing in a few months, and can't recommend him highly enough to anyone in the CT area.
