A much needed vacation

A couple of months ago, I pierced my frenum myself for the fourth and last time. It's a long story which you can read under the frenum section of BME titled "Fourth Times A Charm." After I had completed the procedure I got up, cleaned myself off and sat down to write about my experience to BME. After having submitted the story I started scouting around thinking I wanted a Non-Transurethral ampallang. Then I saw a piercing that I had never heard of- the apadravya.

Within the space of about ten seconds I had made up my mind to get one when my frenum healed. I really didn't like the idea of having to sit down to pee so I did as much research on it as I could to try and convince myself. The piercer I'm friends with had just left town and returned to Dallas where he started piercing again. His name is Chris Johnson and he is by far the person who has educated me most on body-mods and piercing. I was somewhat frustrated by his departure and knew that this was not a piercing I wanted to do myself. So when my friend suggested going down to Dallas to visit some friends I told her I wanted to go.

We left town on a Friday afternoon and that night I found out that her friends were also friends with Chris. They said they wanted to go down to Obscurities the next night to get estimates on piercings and tattoos. I knew that it was either then or never. On the way to the shop I was so nervous that no matter how much I smoked, I couldn't stop my hands from trembling. Walking up to the shop I saw Chris standing outside. At first he didn't even think it was me and then he bear hugged me and asked how I had been.

I told him I was good and after a little chitchat I told him what I wanted done. He got a big grin on his face and told me he would be happy to do it. He reassured me that it would not be as bad as I had heard and that I would be more than pleased with the results. We went inside and I filled out the paperwork and when I looked up, I saw Allen Faulkner standing in front of me.

"What are you getting?" he says.

"Apadravya" I said shakily. I had forgotten that he owned the place and really hadn't expected to see him there that late at night. He smiled a little and told me that I would be happy with it. We chatted for a sec about the mechanics of the piercing and he gave me some pointers on stretching and being able to pee standing up if the bar ever got loose. Chris came back and told me that he needed to wash his hands and if I needed to smoke, now would be the best time. I listened to him. That last cigarette before the piercing helped me a lot. I clamed down and accepted what I had committed to doing even though I had heard so many negative things about the piercing. I wasn't scared of the pain so much as the healing time. The idea of bleeding every time I saw a Victoria Secret commercial was not something I was happy about.

I went back in and Chris led me back to the little piercing room where he told me to hop up on the table and drop my pants. I told him about my frenum scar tissue just incase he wanted to know and he told me that he would pierce just a little closer to the head on the bottom so as to avoid it. He marked his dots and asked me what I thought. It was right where I wanted it and told him that I thought that would be plenty of room for stretching. I laid back and started breathing. He said something like "Here it comes."

The piercing was over with in two seconds but time slowed way down for me as soon as I felt the needle touch the underside of my penis. I could feel a little jolt of my nerves as the needle passed through each layer of skin. When it went through the urethra I stopped exhaling. I started again as soon as it entered the upper part of the head. It exited and he told me that it was done. I took a deep breath.

"Give it a look." He says. I look down to see that there is no a 10 gauge needle through the head of my cock. I felt proud and warm. The jewelry insertion followed and I would say that it was about a third as painful. He tightened on the upper ball and wrapped the area in a glove. I stood up and walked out to meet my friends who were all nervous about what I had just done. I told them I was fine and we decided to go eat down the street and wait for Chris to get off work.

The next day I woke up and found that I had bleed while I was asleep, but not nearly as much as I had expected. I kept bandage rolls and flexible tape handy at all times and changed the dressing every time I took a piss. The next night we went out to the club since we knew we would be leaving the next day. Allen, Chris and a few other people showed up and they started asking about my piercing. I told them all was well and thanked Allen for running such a nice shop. We talked for maybe half an hour and I can say that he and Chris are the two nicest people I have met in the industry.

It's been a week and a half now and much to my pleasant surprise I have had no trouble with urination at all. I can't see any side effects of this piercing other than the pain of healing. It stopped bleeding after four days and on the sixth, I didn't even have to bandage it when I went to sleep. It does wake me up in the morning, but it's getting less and less painful as time goes by. Just keep doing the salt soaks and washing it when you get in the shower and you will be fine. In some of the other stories I've read guys don't like to talk about masturbating but I will give you a word of advice. Wait till it stops bleeding. It might seem worth it at the time, but I gave in after four days and it started bleeding half way through. Not a good thing.

All in all, I totally recommend the apadravya to any one wanting it. I'm hoping to stretch up to a 0 gauge within 3 years and am sure that I will enjoy getting there. Just be reasonable about the things you hear and focus on how much you want the piercing. Feel free to email me if you want.
