reverse pa + pa = apadravya |
| ||||||||||||||||
I started on the way to an apadrava with a reverse pa figuring that if i got it in too stages it would heal faster....i am not too sure if it woorked out that wayThe procedure for the reverse pa was pretty basic, the placement was marked with a toothpick and what i assumed to be tattoo ink, a recieving tube was inserted into my urethera, a few deep breaths and i had a ring in the head of my penis. It was by far the most painfull piercing i have ever gotten done but it wasn't too bad that i screamed out for my mother. I felt light headed but i didn't pass out and i left the piercing room with a smile on my face. There was a little bleeding after the jewelry was inserted so the piercer wrapped me up in a gauze and stuck me in a rubber glove for the ride home. That first night i woke up to blood oozing out of the fresh piercing and my urethera, needless to say i was a little scared but the piercer warned me that this was a bleeder so i cleaned it up in the sink and went back so sleep.
The piercing continued bleeding on and off for the next few weeks anytime it got hit or irritated so i found myself investing in boxerbriefs and the likes there of to keep myself confined and out of harms way. I am not sure if this much bleeding is normal but i am still alive and me penis is doing well.
i got the pa done about a year later and this was far far less painful than the reverse. It also healed much faster too, it felt and looked fully healed in about a month.
When i got the piercing done I told the piercer of my intentions for the two piercings to be connected with one bar. She reccomended that i get the pa done with a ring and to wait untill it was healed to use one piece or jewelry. She said that it would take far longer to heal and it would be much more painful for me to get the piercing done with a barbell inserted through the healed reverspa and the fresh pa.
After about a month and a half i decided it was time to bring my plan together. I ordered an inch and 3/8 10ga barbell to connect my two 8 ga holes. I figured that since the barbell was a smaller ga that it would make insertion easier and the switch in jewelry less traumatic.
That first day i couldn't seem to get that barbell thru, i tried from the top going through to the bottom, i tried from the bottom going through the top, i even took both the balls off and tried going through the urethera for both. After being unable to get the barbell itself through and being in alot of pain, i gave up. I was sore as hell and i doubted i would ever get the barbell through.
I went out a few days later and bought a knitting needle that was about the size of a 10 ga and cut one end off and sanded it down. With a amount of lube and my home made insertion pin i sat down and with still more pain i had that barbell through me.
Since i had gotten the two piercings done seperatly the holes didn't match up as well as i hoped they would. This made the barbell very uncomfortable for the first day or two. It felt like it had been repierced and i had to once again take care of both piercings like they were freshly done. The 10 would send shots of pain through me if it got hit right and i contemplated taking it out. I had gone through a good amount of pain and money for this piercing and i didn't want to loose it untill i gave it some time. I decided to wait it out and stretch it and see how it felt at a larger ga.
I waited a few months and eventuall the pain stopped somewhat but i knew it would feel better and be less sensative at a larger ga. This time I ordered an 8 ga barbell but instead of roughing it i got myself an insertion pin to go with it and things went smoothly. After having to go through a few weeks of taking care if it like it was freshly done and a decent amount of pain and sensitivity it felt better and more comfortable than it had at the thinner ga.
I am now up to a 4 ga apadravya with plans on going up to 2 sometime around the fall of 2000. If i knew then what i know now of the discomfort and time it took i would have gotten apadravya done from the start at a larger ga, perhaps an 8 or 6. It took me years to get that large and months of healing time that were quite painful at times.
