I have considered a piercing for some years, finally deciding on something special and personal. I have read BME and other webs over a long period realizing I wanted something only I knew was there, hence the ampallang decision. It could become my party trick, maybe not at my age. Reading other previous reports, I must admit to be somewhat apprehensive about reported pain opposed to the fact that trans urethral piercings are reportedly fast healing due to the sterile flows preventing infection. I emailed the local shop asking about the ampallang, making an appointment after considering the information on her web site. I had no idea how to handle the situation as having a total stranger put a needle through my penis was a little hard to comprehend. I turned up at the shop at the beach, told Judith who I was, paid the $200, then proceeded to a little out back dark room for the beginning of the procedure. The "numbing" involved some white cream covered with sterile sticky tape being applied, I then pulled up my shorts and told to come back in an hours time. I actually drove home while the white cream did its' thing. The cream did not make my penis feel any different, except that it was like it was gone, nothing! I had a phone call just before the numbing was to take place, so I went out of the shop around the corner. When I came back Judith was looking for me, I think she thought I had lost my nerve. This did take my mind off the job at hand as I went in for the numbing. Taking down your shorts in front of a mature woman that you have never met before was very strange, and when she was putting the sticky tape on it was quite comical. Because my penis went little Judith was having trouble holding it up to get the tape to go round the head, I did think of trying to tape up a golf ball while she was taping.

Initially I asked for a 12 gauge barbell but was informed that a 14 would be easier initially, to be enlarged later. I had measured the head and requested 38mm length during previous emails. Shorts down,off with the sticky tape, a wash and up on the vinyl bed, covered with white paper sheet, I was now ready. Being an electrician, I questioned the darkness, the answer was a reading light on the wall, didn't help me much as you will understand later. Lying down, Judith marked the head for the trans-urethral ampallang, explaining how my stream will be effected, asking me if OK? Lying down in the dark room I relied in Judith making it OK as I couldn't see a much. She was the expert, I concluded.I did try to sit up and could just see the white dots, looked OK. One thing I did not expect was that my penis went little, even when the numbing was done. I was concerned that an erection would be a total embarrassment. Another concern was the marking but Judith made no comment so I figured being little made it easier for her to do the job.
A deep breath and blow out the candles, it was done. The needle hurt like a bull ant sting, as it faded the order to breath in and blow came again and all done. A paper towel followed by the glove and I was pulling up my shorts. Out in the shop, some carefull after care instructions and some Chlorhexidine/Cetrimide irrigation solution, it was over.
The piercing was done about 1pm, about 2 I had to pee, the piercing was bleeding enough to drench the paper towel, I washed out the glove, washed the penis with the Chlor, applied some more paper and reapplied the glove.
The "changing", with a bit less blood each time, went on about 10 times over the next 2 days after which I did not need the glove.
After 3 days, all was healed but tender,I was able to inspect my piercing carefully. It looks great but Judith missed the urethra completely and the barbell is about 7-8 degrees out of square. I have emailed Judith about doing it again hoping some $ consideration may be forth coming. The purpose of trans urethral is to retain a wand. I will send some pictures when I'm able to finally retain the wand
The 14 G barbell was probably best after all as it will be replaced, leaving a smaller hole. One question I need an answer for is to weather to take it out, I hope judith will answer these things in due time
Over all the barbell looks great and realy no big deal having it done. I can't wait to try it out, maybe with a condom
